Brave photographer Jo-Anne McArthur and visionary film maker Liz Marshall expose the clandestine and pervasive industry that commits horrific abuses against those animals whom we as a society view as commodities: whether to eat, wear, or otherwise exploit. In the film, we see the faces of these animals and, as we look into their eyes, a glimpse into their souls. See this film. It will inspire you to look into your own soul. And help.
Jason C (nl) wrote: The appeal of this may be limited to fans of Pearce and/or Pattinson and post-apocalyptic stories - there is simply not enough content in the character of the central character, the loner Eric (Pearce), to really immerse the viewer in the story. As a result this is something of a near miss, although the aftermath of the Collapse is well represented and the feeling of hopelessness is palpable.

Thankfully, so did the creative team, and they made sure to change up enough of the formula to keep the movie reasonably fresh. The boys are back, but they're at college this time. There's another drug to investigate, and the same pair have to go undercover to find it. The usual hilarity ensues, with a few red herrings to keep the mystery alive. There is also a great deal of fourth-wall leaning, and the metaphors are even funnier than before.A few new characters get to join in the fun. Amber Stevens is great to have around, elevating everyone she has a scene with. Wyatt Russell is also funny; he plays off of Tatum very well. We also get a come-out-of-nowhere performance from Jillian Bell, who killed every scene she was in through sheer commitment and great writing. While I do not think that this film improves upon its predecessor, I do have to acknowledge that it's another fun, if incredibly curse-happy, action/comedy.

Wes S (mx) wrote: Decent little documentary. They only focus on the 4 main films, so there's no mention of the TV film or the remake. They only spend about 20 minutes on each film, but there's still a lot of interesting facts and such. Plenty of interviews and clips. There's a lot it was missing, but fans of Psycho should still enjoy it.

Jon A (us) wrote: This movie got slated upon release back in 1992, but has so much going for it. Strong performances by Caine and Ian Holm as his ex boss. Great action sequences coordinated by Eddie Stacey and a great score from the late Michael Kamen. Russel Mulchay always wanted to direct a Bond movie....well this is as close as he got.
Zane T (ca) wrote: A murder mystery set in Saigon during the Tet Offensive of 1968. It's a nice idea but a poor execution, considering this movie using the law of the the most extraneous character to be the killer. I'll give you a hint. It's not Scott Glenn whose character is mainly a glorified cameo. It's the one person who seems to be in the movie from the start for no other reason than to be the bad guy. This movie has a few good scenes such as how the South Vietnamese felt about the American presence in their country during the war and the hostility. But this movie doesn't focus on that. Instead, we get a by the numbers muder mystery. Seriously, even if they are Army CID, wouldn't they have M-16 rifles when they are dropped in the war zone during the Tet offensive.
