Still, it's a promising first film with enough visual and intellectual ideas to keep me interested in the future projects of Cronenberg Jr.

I love the beautiful chemistry between the two leads - every moment between them kept me at the edge of my seat! Superb acting from the cast, well-developed characters and a well-paced unfolding of the storyline. Also, this movie was wonderfully shot. This was one of the best lesbian movies I have ever seen!

The character is obnoxious, as is the usual plot centering around the main character's inevitable love story with an unpopular ugly duckling. Aaron Carter is annoying.

Kinho M (ru) wrote: Not Jackie Chan's best but definitely not his worst. Like with all his movies, you watch it just waiting for that next action sequence. Good choreography with a mediocre story. Michelle Yeoh gets some good fighting in there too. Gets a little slow in the middle but like I said, you're just waiting for that next action sequence.

Anne F (nl) wrote: This seemed to be a fairly faithful adaptation of EM Forster's novel, but I haven't picked that up for 30 years since it was an O Level text, so perhaps I misremember? The story explores questions about English attitudes to Johnny Foreigner and the effects of the class system around the turn of the century (19th/20th rather than the last one) and the lack of freedom that follows from being 'English'.
