Neil Charles Kevin S (mx) wrote: I was expecting something deeper from the characters. Turned out, it was the major let-down. The story, recycled. Depth, none. The only thing that made this watchable was the last part, which was really fun. Another thing to take note is the light tone it set from the very beginning that it carried throughout the movie, which is good. I just hoped they could add more depth to their potentially-interesting characters.

Tor M (ru) wrote: A very delightful film about childhood. The dying mother and Ingemar's many thaughts about this aspect is a huge plot feature that make sure that it got enough drama in it to make it solid - still, it's mostly a funny film about growing up. Ingemar seem to have the time of his life that summer we follow him - even if he has some personal troubles. The characters are nice and it happen enough stuff here to keep me interested. I guess it worked as a fine film for kids back then, now it's more suited for grown ups - it will probably bring many of us back to our own childhood memories. Not too emotional, not too flat. Bot a super film, but a pleasant one.7 out of 10 boxing gloves.

Dylan D (fr) wrote: Bangkok Dangerous is a difficult film to judge. It's not Leon, for sure, but it is an enjoyable ride that plays better than it should and ends with a most unexpected final shot. The film is far better than its paltry box office take may lead one to believe, and it offers more meaning and depth upon closer examination than do other movies of this sort. This is by no means a historical, or even all that memorable, film, but it does make for a rewarding 90+ minutes for those with an open mind willing to give it a chance.

John W (kr) wrote: I was excited to see this one. Love horror, huge zombie fan and this looked to have an interesting story hook and very clever cast (and OMG, what happened to Darryl Hannah??). How disappointing then to sit through what is almost inarguably the worst zombie film every made. I tried very hard and can't come up with a single redeeming quality for this heap o' crap and I've got to believe the entire cast has to be rethinking their decisions to participate.
