Tom K (nl) wrote: The story is forced and there are some cool (and painful looking) stunts, but this one is definitely below the bar that the amazing Jeeja Yanin has set for herself. If it weren't for the performances of Jeeja and the great Petchtai Wongkamlao, this one would be worth a pass.

Greg S (ca) wrote: A woman has an accident driving in the deserted woods and finds herself trapped in a world where nothing makes sense. The director, Calvin Reeder, accurately describes it as a "surrealist/experimental movie with splashes of horror"; about a fourth of the audience walked out of the screening I saw, more likely from boredom than shock. If you're going to make a film with essentially no plot, every individual scene needs to be a knockout, and that's just not the case with THE OREGONIAN. But it gets points for remaining defiantly weird, and for a couple of very nice funny/creepy touches: a man whose pee turns all the colors of the rainbow, and a man-sized green muppet character.

John P (it) wrote: Is what it is... A low rate action movie using Zach's recent success in Hangover as its publicity. Not too bad, but drags, even at 82 minutes.

Helen W (nl) wrote: i love this doc cuz 1.) it's touching - i cried quite a few times throughout the entire documentary, and u know how much i love crying 2.) i think it's as much about brotherhood as The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is about sisterhood. Tho i dont think the director will enjoy this comparison much ^_^ hehe... Not sure how much the movie has sugar-coated the whole Australian beach gang scene, but as a docudrama, it works for me!!! xoxo

Jacob B (es) wrote: Hilarious. Rodney Dangerfield's best film ever.

Cody Y (de) wrote: This was a spectacularly hilarious movie about the Jiang-shi and other Chinese mythology, which is complimented with cheesy 80's martial arts and an epic wizard battle ending.

Samantha S (kr) wrote: gorgeous movie, Yves Montand and Babs had no chemistry. Waste of Bob Newhart and Jack Nicholson. If they'd re-cast the leads, I'd have been much happier.

John W (au) wrote: An unbelievably flat movie single handedly held not-quite-together by Patrick McGoohan. Sadly, his main effect is perhaps to expose Hudson as an animated bit of wood and make ever more painful the delivery of Borgnine's grandly fake 'russiken' accent. Jim Brown is too rote but has a few nice lines also. The chief fault, though, is the incoherent, plodding script that doomed the enterprise from the outset: fully 90 minutes could be deleted with no ill effect and you can forget about plot logic, which is eschewed in order to cram in an amazing amount of pedantic, expository dialogue (mainly from Hudson).Nevertheless the film does have one legitimately great bit: the sequence in which the sub begins to take on water from sabotage, and its immediate aftermath is fantastic, taut and everything the rest of the movie should be.

Michelle T (au) wrote: Best movie ever. It saved my marriage because we tried to live as Vanessa and Barry. They had a great balance between work and play ;-)

Tim B (de) wrote: This movie cheats. Rather than following the plot of one serious/comedic love affair, It does 10. But each story is not left in the dust by the others. In fact, each story is appropriately long (20ish minutes for each story). Even better, the stories collide together frequently in humorous but meaningful ways - the richest and the poorest all have chances and challenges with love. From your pre-teen years to your late 60s, "Love Actually" feels relateable for the whole audience. Overall, a very nifty feel-good film. (Watch out: lots of nudity)
