(ca) wrote: Low-budget supernatural horror drivel about a special ops team sent to investigate a distress signal sent from a WW2-era US warship. The crew have been slaughtered, the power is out and an undead psychic Nazi supersoldier may be to blame. No, really. This is the kind of low-budget dross that begs the question "How does shit like this get made?!" It's not scary, it's not interesting, it's not gory, it's not entertaining, it's not anything except ugly, unoriginal and horrifically boring. Is there anything even remotely positive to say about it? I guess just one: Lance Henriksen. He may be the master of slumming and is clearly on autopilot, but he still has a presence.

(kr) wrote: A serious subject is thrown away on an an increasingly preposterous script and hokey direction by Wolfgang Petersen. Hoffman tries his damnedest to turn it into All the President's Men, but it's a losing battle, made even more difficult by the fact that all his co-stars - including the eternally wooden Rene Russo - are at least half a foot taller. Morgan Freeman does his gravitas number, Donald Sutherland collects a pay cheque as stock baddie, and Kevin Spacey has the campest hair-dye since Lucille Ball.

(jp) wrote: Another great movie of Burt Lancaster. Valdez is Coming it does have a great plot of the story. Now the ending end up what do you think happen just left off scene. Did the guy pay Valdez or he reach to his pistol and draw???? Well I will watch this movie again I like western movies. Burt Lancaster great role. This what think about the movie.

(ca) wrote: Personal redemption 50's programmer with Heston temporarily lead astray by rich girl Scott until seeing the error of his ways in an abrupt resolution. Enjoyable if you like the stars with nice work by Foster and particularly Marjorie Rambeau in a small part.
(gb) wrote: Not awfull, but came off as a B noir with an A cast. The plot was a little tough to follow in places. Dick Powell was, as usual, great. Raymond Burr really steals the show in the villian role, showing the versatility that he hardly got the chance to show off after Perry Mason started in 1957.
(au) wrote: Early Hepburn in clunky drama of a fool and the woman he doesn't appreciate until it's almost too late but who loves him anyway.
(ru) wrote: This movie is an ABOMINATION! Not ounly does it belittle Star Trek fans with the character of Adiral Seasholtz(Seth Rogen), but it excuses its main protagonist BREAKING THE FUCKING LAW. Those Starwoid ASSHOLES literally STARTED their fight with the Star Trek dudes by refusing serv ice to them calling them "Kirk-loving Spock Suckers" and barging into Riverside, Iowa to antagonize the local Trekkers. Plus those rotten little snowflakes committed the three crimes of VANDALISM, SPEEDING, and TRESPASSING and got out of trouble easy for it! This movie has no emphasis on having ANY reality to your life since its main protagonists are celebrated for thinking that the FANTASY of Star Wars saturation is more important than REALITY, SICK!
(nl) wrote: Whether your a Star Trek fan or not, Galaxy Quest is a fun, hilarious and boisterously magnetic sci-fi spoof that pays homage while also standing alone as it's own smart film.
(de) wrote: El concepto es algo interesante, pero la ejecucin es horriblemente llevado debido a su ridculo guion al igual que las actuaciones son mediocres.
