Jeff S (it) wrote: Can honestly say I really didn't find what I expected going into this film. And that was a good thing. Did she really paint those paintings all by herself? Did she have help? Were they painted by someone else all together? Let's face it, we'll likely never know (and her father's actions really don't help matters). But I really don't care. The quality of the artwork should stand by itself; either you enjoy the work or you don't. To me, that's all that really matters. And the real victim here is a little girl, just trying to live and enjoy her life. What kind of a life will she lead, what kind of a person will she become, after all the media publicity, criticism, and fanfare? I think we can all agree that she deserves a childhood above all else, and let's all hope that she gets it.

Carl V (nl) wrote: The single best film of all time. There's four films I'd call masterpieces. These three, and "Inglourios Basterds". And I don't think Inglourious Basterds even compares to this film. It is PERFECT.

Lewis H (ca) wrote: Even after 25 years the film has not lost any of its power, thanks to a remarkable French/Polish collaboration and the skill of director Andrzej Wajda. The sense of revolution gone mad is overwhelming.

Even better, leaf alone the marijuana and watch something good. Or even best, vaporize the marijuana and watch something great). Sorry about that, got lost for a second.... Doesn't hold up as well as I thought it would (I wish I would have fast fowarded between the few great scenes). I hadn't seen this movie since Jay Buras showed it to me when I was 11. Those were the days. Oh, and just say no to legal drugs. You can say yes to the other things I ask you though. And Kamryn if you are reading this, disregard all of the above advice. It was all in jest ;}

Gene Saks did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed this motion picture because of the romance. Cactus Flower is a must see.
