(us) wrote: Too slow and inconsistent thriller. It lacks direction and suspense. Music is too sleepy to bring the key sequences to life. The cinematography works pretty well though and the last 20 minutes keep you on the edge. Unfortunately, the ending is dissatisfying, and drags, like the rest of it.
(ru) wrote: I love how the RnB singer Charlie Wilson is the picture for troll Texas congressman Charlie Wilson. It's absurd that 60 minutes was on in Wilson's room in Sin City. Instead of enjoying the hot tub, women and alcohol he had to look at that TV and get his savior complex going. If only his cruel neighbor hadn't feed that dog glass. Now more than a decade into the American lead effort to pacify Afghanistan, he must feel like a ridiculous ass. Congrats man, you are responsible for 9/11. Then again, maybe he's oblivious like fellow Texan Bush 2? Maybe that was the plan all along!

(it) wrote: This is a gripping, dark, well-acted movie that treats the subject matter with respect, and is shot and presented so realistically, one can truly experience the horrors of 9/11.
(us) wrote: This was an 'ok' movie... the plot was 'ok', cinematography was 'ok', acting 'ok'. Sally Phillips was great.Watch this when you haven't got anything better to do ... or when you have a deadline and are procrastinating.
(de) wrote: No real substance to the story but really loved the script and cast!

(ag) wrote: *** (out of four) Moody and atmospheric, "Flesh and Blood" successfully plays on the great chemistry between Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. The plot about a murderous past catching up with those involved is also interesting.
(mx) wrote: A handful of remaining residents in an old building get a helping hand against a land developer's thugs trying to force them out from small alien spaceships. Passable on its own but a bit disappointing given Speilberg's involvement. Would have been better with more sinister thugs.
