(it) wrote: It is a pointless movie, bad acting. The plot is disastrous, and end worse.
(fr) wrote: Not exactly an amazing piece of cinema, but it is a bit of fun and a good laugh.
(ca) wrote: Charming, funny, endearing, and incredibly sweet. This isn't earth-shattering by any means, but it's definitely a welcome installment into the coming-of-age genre.
(it) wrote: Quite a fun and entertaining movie about the struggles of the American dream.A young woman is asked to make life choices about a job industry she is not quite interested in.What is most important in the end?A typical storyline with a typical protagonist.Meryl Streep steals every frame she is in.Actually Meryl is the soul of the movie.Hathaway was fantastic but Meryl was extraordinary!Without her this movie would have flopped.

(au) wrote: One of those amazing video boxes that freaked me out as a kid and left an impression. By the time I would rent a vhs like that, videostores would get rid of these gems for whatever reason. A standard slasher movie that boasts 6 bizarre deaths is something to check out and while the deaths aren't over the top, the shishkabob, motorcycle and weight lifting ones were certainly cool and effective. Decent suspense mixed in with a few campy moments, Happy Birthday to Me deserves to be checked out and is a classic in the realm of My Bloody Valentine or to a lesser extent April Fool's Day. Features a twist ending of course and that is part of the fun.

(es) wrote: A movie as much endured as viewed, this satirical look at a political system gone mad with bloodlust contains plenty of naked babes; over-the-top acting and (of course) car-chases-galore. Trouble is, it's not particularly funny; the action sequences are rather pedestrian and, in the end, all pretty pointless. Sly Stallone is the highlight, with plenty of good lines to offset the drab performances elsewhere - including the irritating race narrator, who easily ranks as one of the most-annoying characters ever put to film. Death Race 2000 is a surreal spinout that misses the checkered flag by miles.
(it) wrote: Neat story about a rather polite cowboy type helps a young Mexican boy after he is arrested for killing the the town bully. He is assumed to be a co conspirator and is set to be hanged as well but assists the young man in escaping from the highly corrupt town. A lot more action than some of Boetiticher's films, which helped in keeping me watching

(au) wrote: He's Just Not That Into You boasts a playful premise and strives to be critical and satirical of the rom-com genre it attempts to distance itself from, however inevitably becomes what it wants to parody and succumbs to a jangling bag of stereotypes and far too many filler characters. Unfortunately this means that talented actors who clearly give good performances unfortunately fail to make much of an impression. Other than that, it has its fair share of funny moments and several of the characters are relatable enough that it is definitely watchable.
