Mark C (br) wrote: One of those rare minimal players, high chemistry pieces. Macarbe in places ( such as hav ing dinner before being stabbed through the heart) but some great moments.

alex f (ru) wrote: just terrible... nothing made any sense and van damme didnt even kick the crap out of anyone?!?!

John O (mx) wrote: This film has great performances from Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep, but unfortunately it's way too depressing and even hard to take.

Nicolas A (de) wrote: With Fellini as director and Mastroianni and Masina in the leading role this movie couldnt fail and it didnt. The change of moods during the movie where great and perfect, it gave you the feeling that the actors where feeling. The story is also very intresting.

D M (br) wrote: A woman joins a nunnery to learn the fate of her mother who was also a nun. Lots of debauchery going on (which really isn't that far from the truth; nunnerys have been the site for this kind of behavior for ages) with a priest raping some nuns (which still happens), murder (so does this), suicide, a nun paying some guys to rape another nun, sadistic lesbian nuns who make the younger nuns strip and whip each other. Oh yeah, there's also a scene which makes Andres Serrano appear to be nearly 15 years late. Strange that this is a Japanese movie, I thought movies like this came out of Italy and Spain.

Jace L (nl) wrote: Contemplative, stark, and beautifully composed. Short and not so sweet, but rewarding nevertheless.
