Laure E (au) wrote: Un couple improbable et un peu trop caricatural, parfois assez drle.

Nicola B (it) wrote: Love a movie with a good twist, although one disappointing scene towards the end

Raymond W (us) wrote: This Japanese tribute to Spagetti Westerns set in the English language is campy, creative, gory, and self-referential and especially feels that way partly because of the presence of Quentin Tarantino.

Russell H (ag) wrote: It's hard to take Carrey seriously. I really didn't mind it though. A cool idea.

Mia Cullen A (ru) wrote: Pretty good for a low-budget-movie, allthou the actors werent the best. I liked the ghost, she was very "grudge-alike" and thats always scary. So these idiots to boys goes into the woods after a graveyard where there is supposed to be a treasure hidden (damn idiots). As the first one of the three boys dissapears things goes outta control, the forest is haunted by a ghost (looks very much like grudge) wich starts to take on the boys... You can figure out the rest, a very low-budget-movie but with good effects anyway.

Cody M (gb) wrote: An interesting movie that makes you think outside the box, even if it's frustratingly obvious.

Alessandro L (mx) wrote: While it doesn't represent one of my best favourite dramas, BF is certainly a decent proof for the 2 actress, and a pretty movie experience overall. Eunice and Miriam go through London highways looking for Judith, a mysterious woman loved by one of them. Neither miriam nor Eunice are completely sane. The former has killed a lot of innocents; the latter has serious problems with the comprehension of the world around herself. a lot of pathos in the last sequences, whereas the feeling among them become more intense. A lot of scenes which explicit the masochism soul of this production.

Steve M (es) wrote: It has some great moments but otherwise a disappointing movie. It's main issue is that it tries to be a horrors of POW camp type of film but we've seen that before in plenty of films and even so doesn't really add much to the film. The little moments are the ones worth watching. Oddly enough some of the best scenes are the ones of 2 or 3 characters talking and the scenes of violence is the forgettable part of the film.. Worth a watch and has a very good score.

Zach M (de) wrote: This wasn't a very bad film actually. Some nudity, good violence and the acting wasn't terrible.

Shawn W (us) wrote: Everything has a price as a bar piano player finds out when he is hired by two bounty hunters to find a man who impregnated a wealthy landowner's daughter. The easy payoff never materializes as recovering the head costs him more than he ever had.

Steve L (it) wrote: If you already read my review of the other After Dark action film The Philly kid then you know I think very highly of what After Dark has done. El Gringo is the best of them all. Great Story, Great Action, Great Actors, GREAT FILM. Dare I even say this is the best movie I seen in 2012. The fight scenes in this movie alone deserve awards. Its a shame this movie will probably get buried by the Clooney Kiss ass "critics" and will steer people clear from watching this master piece. That's why I'm here, That's why I'm the only critic you can trust. So for every action movie fan out there drop what you are doing now and go watch El Gringo and enjoy one of the best Movies not only of 2012 but in all time

Dave J (it) wrote: Friday, May 17, 2013 (1961) A Pocketful Of Miracles COMEDY DRAMA Remake of Frank Capra's 1933 film called "Lady For A Day" starring Glenn Ford as Dave The Dude a top head gangster and racketeer who often buys apples from a poor old bag lady nicknamed Apple Annie for superstitious luck. And when Annie gets put into a complicated situation herself regarding her actual daughter, Dave The Dude's fianc nicknamed "Queenie" played by Hope Lange encourages him to get involve into helping poor old Annie if he wants his superstitious luck to continue which is why it's called "Pocketful Of Miracles" hence the title. A film that is two hours and 16 minutes, all I can say is that while it's always fun to see film legends like Bette Davis and Glenn Ford on screen together, the pacing regarding the set is much longer than it should. And the ending should've been much longer than the set up even though it's identical to other Capra movies. Known as Director Frank Capra's last film and Ann Margret's first movie debut. 3 out of stars

Luciano G (ag) wrote: The story line was believable, production values were high, music kept the pace, and the acting was good...family fantasy fun!

Stefan B (kr) wrote: This is the finest movie of our time. If you don't like mosquitos, you really won't want to see what gets turned giant when it sucks on some alien radioactive blood and starts buzzing around and stuff! Except you'll totally want to see it in movie form. Shout out to the dude who tries to hide in an outhouse.
