Tho documentary doesn't show you fully what we are doing to animals, but it is enough. Also, our life expectancy is better if we eat mostly or all veg. I love meat, but I feel so sick about the thought of it now I'm hoping I don't turn back.
Chrissy B (jp) wrote: Not only does Hoult portray a believably conflicted zombie, but Palmer does an equally exceptional job as the brave yet pleasantly candid female lead. This film has underlying tones of an independent picture for young adults, following along the lines of other pieces such as (500) Days of Summer and The Spectacular Now. It is visually stunning, with an intrinsic soundtrack to accompany it. Definitely worth a watch, even if zombie flicks aren't usually something you can stomach.

Personally, I gave this movie an hour and a half of my time, and I was glad that I did. There are definitely scenes and sequences in this one that make it worth the watch and the main characters are engaging enough to keep you interested. For me, this movie was a bit of a diamond in the rough among a slew of straight to DVD stinkers that I'm most likely thankful I've already forgotten.

Cynthia S (nl) wrote: Well, being a married woman I found this film very disheartening. What exactly was the point of all that heartache? I guess I would have preferred to have a storyline with some resolution somewhere. The end of this film was just ungratifying. No wrapping up of loose ends. Everyone was just ruined at the end, and she just drifted away aimlessly. On top of that, it was 2 hrs of watching her go back and forth between men. Not exactly exciting. This is the kind of slow, artsy type of film that critics love to love. Me not always so much...

That being say, the modern dress style and the fact of NO AMERICAN PRODUCER INVOVLEMENT, helps his version of Hamlet stay true to its roots as opposed to some of the tripe we've seen of other modern dress attempts (ex: Romeo & Juliet)

David D (de) wrote: I'm seeing very mixed reviews for this movie. Some people hate it and some people love it. I, for one, loved this film. It terrified me and made me feel bad for those involved. The acting is fantastic and I genuinely enjoyed this entire film. It does stay 100% true to the novel but it does a fair enough job of keeping to the storyline. If you enjoy being creeped out and you can tolerate some gore...check this one out!
