(kr) wrote: It looks like a tv movie. Not looking very real. More like a religious comic book, it might follow the official story but not sure it is knowing of all the data about the story. Son of god worked out much better I think.

(mx) wrote: So this is a prime example of how it's done in the U.S., a prime example of how it's NOT supposed to be done. Bold, slow, plastic, lame, unconvincing, emotionless.. "The killer inside the closet" is a waste of time and patience, with veeery low and unoriginal plot, bad wee-tard face performance by affleck's brother and some cheesy crap with whore murders. Americans are the masters in ruining the violence genre, guys like Takashi Miike, Park Chan-wook, Kim Jee-woon just to name a few will really tickle your imagination, without dancing on your nerves with cheesy unconvincing unoriginal recycled material.

(de) wrote: Wednesday, October 10, 2012 (2001) Novocaine MYSTERY THRILLER Another implausible film where the well groomed dentist played by Steve Martin does well on his field but falls for a patient played by Helena Boham Carter even though he already has a girlfriend who is his secretary played by Laura Dern. He complicates matters even more when the Helena Bonham character steals alot of his own drug supplies after an affair before coming across an unpredictable death. When everything works out conveniently well for the main protagonist toward the end especially when he makes unethical choices to lead up to this kind of ending than it's interpreted as self- indulgent. There's some interesting stuff about dentistry but anyone can get that kind of information on-line or on anywhere else. 2 out of 4
