Tyler S (jp) wrote: Good cinematography is the highlight of this very predictable movie, with its strange somewhat attention grabber title. It's Lincoln killing vampires. There really isn't much more to it.The movie is unique in the way it takes one of the most famous commander in Chiefs of all time, throws in historic accuracy, and adds the fact he kills vampires for a living. Despite the absolute absurdity of it all, it's still somewhat entertaining it combines a historical icon with creatures of the night.Very average film

Logan M (ag) wrote: Permission to speak freely. 2008 was not an entirely memorable year for movies. "The Dark Knight" and "WALL-E" were really the only lasting films from that year, but something had to win Best Picture.

Kevin R (ca) wrote: You didn't feel any pain A scientists believes he has found a formula that can be used to remove pain long enough to perform an operation; however, when he tries to perform experiments in front of a board of directors, something always fails. The scientist becomes addicted to his own pain medication as well as opium. Though his drug induced rages, he finds himself in the middle of peculiar situations. Is he responsible for his actions or is someone trying to frame him? "The first operation without pain was performed within these walls." Robert Day, director of The Quick and the Dead (1987), China Rose, Peter and Paul, Black Market Baby, The Green Man, and The Big Game, delivers Corridors of Blood. The storyline for this film is interesting and the primary premise is worth while. The acting carries this film and the settings are well selected. The cast includes Boris Karloff, Betta St. John, and Christopher Lee. "I told you choking it would look natural." Every Halloween season my wife and I go way out of our way to find Boris Karloff and Vincent Price pictures. This film grabbed my attention based on the wonderful title and of course, because it stars Boris Karloff. The premise for this film was interesting and entertaining but this is a not as intense or well delivered as other Karloff films. "That's a nice body you've got there." Grade: B -

August C (gb) wrote: A Neo-Noir film with as great cast, But misses its mark especially in the second half of the film. The plot jumps off into to many directions and the story doesn't seem to be able to catch up, still its worth a watch for style.

Mihai D (jp) wrote: Absolutely loved this movie. The fighting scenes are so legit and awesome. None of that 3D Kung-Fu screaming bullshit.

xGary X (jp) wrote: Without a Clue is an amusing parody of the Sherlock Holmes stories in which the true genius is Ben Kingsley's Dr. Watson, Holmes being a womanising drunken actor hired to play the part. There's little here that hasn't been done before as Conan Doyle's stories have been pillaged for material ever since they were written, but the comic chemistry between the two talented leads works brilliantly. Michael Caine's clearly loving every minute of it and in combination with Kingsley's ever more disdainful and exasperated Watson, they make a great comic partnership. The plot is minimal, feeling like an upmarket Carry On story or the English cousin of Clouseau, but it's all done with such infectious, knockabout charm it rarely fails to raise a smile. Hardly a world changer, but a pleasant diversion on a rainy afternoon.
