As the movie progresses you can see just how dysfunctional the family actually is. I loved the acting skills of Johnny Sequoyah as well, she's so young but incredibly talented. I love the maturity of her character. Overall I think the movie is very interesting and definitely worth a watch.

Was a great watch and almost anthropological in nature as Maloof as he went along and retraced Vivains steps found some of the people she cared for, more treasure troves of some of her work in random places and also found out about the tragic passing and times at the end of her life. Very cool stuff about an artist whose whole success has been posthumously recognized at least by the public.

The screenplay by Robert Dillon is based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Scott Spencer. The film flashes back and forth between the 1970s and 1980s and centers on the relationship between Fielding Pierce, a young Coast Guard officer with political ambitions, and idealistic Roman Catholic Sarah Williams, who is drawn to programs designed to better the lives of the underprivileged and has mixed feelings about his career goals.Pointless movie based in a pointless novel.Despite the good performances, the story is void and shallow.

(it) wrote: This was oddly a very boring movie that had the majority of its action in the last 30mins of the movie. Mark Wahlberg was very lame in this movie and so was Beau Bridges. Mila Kunis seems to be catching my eye a lot more recently. And what the hell, I thought Chris O'Donnell was dead, what's he doing in this movie? Story was very weak and like most video game based movies it doesn't use the story properly.
