The Last Unicorn
From a riddle-speaking butterfly, a unicorn learns that she is supposedly the last of her kind, all the others having been herded away by the Red Bull. The unicorn sets out to discover the truth behind the butterfly's words. She is eventually joined on her quest by Schmendrick, a second-rate magician, and Molly Grue, a now middle-aged woman who dreamed all her life of seeing a unicorn. Their journey leads them far from home, all the way to the castle of King Haggard.

(kr) wrote: It was an odd, but decent movie at first, just when I really started to like it, it took an ugly and hateful turn. Couldn't even watch the last 20 minutes or so. I skipped through and caught the jist of the end, I still feel a little sick to my stomach and the only lesson I've taken away from this movie is that god fearing rich people are the worst sort of people.

Sumamente recomendable.

But a Bergman film not rated as one of his very best is still in a league quite beyond that which most other directors ever reach. Back in '68, it was my first experience of a Bergman film, and it made me realize for the very first time that movies can be much more than entertainment and escapism. And that there really are people who produce lasting works of art through the medium of film making.

Dr. No is a Chinese nuclear scientist who works for SPECTRE and is trying to blackmail the US with nuclear weapons which he makes on his secret island.
