Brad S (us) wrote: Good doc that pairs well thematically with the narrative film All Is Lost starring Robert Redford. This is the beginning of a life on the ocean, All Is Lost is the ending. I'm amazed at Laura's character, drive and abilities. Will be fun to see another film about her later in life if she's still sailing then. And see if she's still exploring the same questions.

John B (it) wrote: A beautiful and touching film from Patricia Rozema and one of my favourite Canadian films. What makes it a classic however is the epic performance of Tom Melissis as Hang Glider #2.

Sylvester K (ca) wrote: This is one of Waters' more political comedies, it's hilarious to watch, so campy and yet you can't help but laugh at the stupid dialogues.

Isaac J (nl) wrote: Kind of a letdown. It's mostly made up of clips from the first flick, though there are some kickass original scenes. Chiba knocks a guys eyeballs out of his head and kills a bunch of fools in a bath house.

Frederik M (fr) wrote: Yay! They Brought Vin Diesel back! too bad they didn't tell him to bring a plot aswell...

Hedy L (jp) wrote: My first American feature and a monumental moment in my film career.

Guillaume H (nl) wrote: Just for the treat of seeing Bette Davis and Maggie Smith (yeah, those two!) bikering like evil Queens, this movie gets lots of bonus points. The whole cast is gold, Jane Birkin, Mia Farrow and Although its a poirot movie , Angela lansbury is there as truly flamboyant romance novel writer and is hilarious. Nino rota provides a mysterious although sometimes too grand score. The directing is nothing to mention , just apt so ok, if a tad uninspired. It would be wise not to compare to orient express wich benefited from a great director like Sidney Lumet, and appreciate it on its own merits. And the story; with Agatha Christie your always in good hands! For fans of the whodunnit, its a very fine specimen!
