Aj V (ca) wrote: I was so confused by this movie, but I think it's partly the fault of the people who tried to restore it, it doesn't look so good. The actors weren't very good either, the story is odd, and there wasn't much to look at. This looks like it could have been an interesting movie at least, but it needs to be restored better.
Carlos M (mx) wrote: A solid and entertaining satire that makes fun of the fashion world and the people involved in it (even though in a very obvious way) with many inspired moments, including a hilarious gas station explosion and a priceless "walk-off" scene with David Bowie as judge.

Evan G (es) wrote: this is a very disappointing sequel. Long-gone are the great slapstick and comedy from the first, and in its place are pop culture references that will not age the movie well, running gags that were sometimes funny the first time but just get annoying after that (like the whole Bond... James Bond thing) and references or repeated jokes that were funny in the first one but not that funny anymore. Also, this is a lot more adult than the first and I sometimes think it should be rated R, because a lot of jokes are like sex jokes. They aren't even subtle, either. There are other comedy movies where these kinds of jokes are subtle, like Mrs. Doubtfire. Granted, a few jokes throughout the film did make me laugh but it wasn't enough. This was not the Dumb and Dumber sequel that I had wanted. Also, why did they wait 20 years? You would even be able to tell, without knowing the release date of the original, that it was a long time just by seeing Carrey and Daniels in this movie and then see what they looked like in the original. Overall, this movie really disappointed me.
