Aaron M (jp) wrote: A sometimes shocking, often times heartbreaking documentary about Hurricane Katrina. There is some downright eye popping footage in this doc, not the least of which is the family forced to ride out the storm in their attic as the water levels chillingly continue to rise. As we approach the five year anniversary of this event and as we face the continued challenges of rebuilding that area, and as we stare at a whole new obstacle in the gulf region, it really brings a moment of clarity to the forefront. I challenge anyone to continue to compare the BP disaster (which certainly is devastating in different ways) to the sheer catastrophe against humanity that was Katrina. It will absolutely make you sick to your stomach if you value the good treatment of others. I don't think many people in this country can fathom the level of poor that many of these people seen in this doc face on a daily basis. In the end, it's a strong example of determination and the human spirit.

John P (us) wrote: "The Lord giveth.." [cocks gun] "...and the Lord taketh away."This movie is a gonzo clusterfuck of a journey to the worst CG satan the world has ever known. Seriously, it rivals Spawn's Malebolgia. Still, Udo Kier's impotent dark priest is worth seeing for some gut-busting good times.

Dan F (ca) wrote: Fun and endearing, though occasionally a little too try-hard with the wackiness. It looks good though and has a time-hopping plot which is quite dizziness.
