The Manhunt

A young man buys two horses at an Arizona race track but fails to get a receipt. Later, when riding across the land of a rancher named Robeson, he's accused of stealing the two horses. Unable to prove ownership, the young man is then sentenced to prison where he's forced to do chain-gang type work. He escapes, is recaptured, and escapes again as he tries to locate the man who sold him the horses.

Melissa Lee V (br) wrote: Knowing this was based off a true story made me cry, any mother that loses a child would go insane, endlessly searching even after death, I can't believe what ppl would do for land and money.

Kat G (ca) wrote: Nice complex plot with the flashback technique, but they could've tacked on a few more minutes to show if Lallan corrected his ways and got back with Sashi...

Deb R (ru) wrote: a good movie although i hate to see Patrick play the bad guy

Swati A (kr) wrote: Didn't like the shaky camera. The street scenes were the worst, as if they were shot with hidden camera. The story is ok, but was dragging at some parts.

HungYa L (es) wrote: All very new and creative in the first one.

Mike S (jp) wrote: I loved Jason Alexander in this! It was hard to enjoy this gay bitchfest, but it did ring true at times. The dancing ballerinas were a hoot!

Harry W (br) wrote: Dudley Moore's charms have all dried up by Arthur 2: On the Rocks, and by this point his performance is merely a rehash and nothing more than just the dying spirit of the great character Arthur once was as he gradually dies in this sequel.Arthur 2: On the Rocks suffers the same way that all sequels tend to: its crap. It could have taken its decent premise in the right direction but it didn't. It just flooded the film with flat and unoriginal jokes, as well as a distinct lack of direction from Bud Yorkin who clearly is an inexperienced filmmaker that can't realise a poor quality script even when Andy Breckman dangled it right in front of him, and so as he tries to piece together what he can from the lack of jokes and poor storytelling, but cannot. He cannot because he doesn't know a thing about directing a film, and he is working with crappy sequel material.Alfie 2: On the Rocks is painfully unfunny and boring to watch, and reminds us that all good things must come to an end, such as Dudley Moore's career which died out in the years following this abysmal and laugh-free comedy.Liza Minelli's excessive energy gets tiring extremely fast because she's excessively optimistic for a person who can't have a child and just lost $750,000,000. And its not even funny. And since Arthur 2: On the Rocks is supposedly a comedy, this is a serious problem. Liza Minelli is a problem in Arthur 2: On the Rocks, and her performance is a monotonous and excessively energetic one which drags down the tone of the film when it could have been moving.Really, Arhur 2: On the Rocks is more of a joke than any of the jokes in the film, and finding them is more difficult than finding the loch ness monster. But don't even bother trying if you liked the first Arthur, because this laugh free sequel is depressingly dull.

Richard C (mx) wrote: The rating is for the version I saw with the Italian, Spanish and English language difficulties. A version without the adjusting gets at least a half-star more. I know most of the spaghetti westerns always have some bizarre language barriers already with titles and the asynchronous audio and subtitles, but this time it pissed me off because Compaeros had further language issues. It doesn't take that much effort to subtitle, or edit the film accordingly. Hell, I'd curate it for free!Back to review mode, this is another fun Corbucci film through and through. The character variety once again leaves room for a lively plot. Wicked soundtrack!!

Sarah G (kr) wrote: the Hawaiian scenery alone makes me love it.

Josh E (fr) wrote: An interestingly directed movie that goes through a timeline of highs and lows of a married couple. A different very role for audrey then id previously seen from her.

Aaron B (ag) wrote: The fantastic cast does their best with a so-so script.
