Triangle Woman takes you on a narrative odyssey of a series of ten short stories ranging from the grotesque, the weird, the perplexingly absurd, and the ridiculously silly. A bit of an odd character, Triangle Woman has kept these stories locked up in her head for many years. The film includes stories about a man whose finger rapidly deteriorates and the impending consequences; a nice lady who really isn't that nice; an old woman who talks backwards; an employment agency that has a man-toy named Mr. Brombellarella; among other stories. Triangle Woman is the thread that binds all of the stories together, and she imprints her bizarreness throughout the entire film.

Jesse H (kr) wrote: I strongly dislike Disney channel. Now, while I understand that I am not the target audience, I do feel that very few shows on Disney Channel actually feel like Disney. Disney Channel, rather then being a further way for Disney to spread family friendly genius, has become a shallow ploy in order to make more money by whatever means possible. Through this, Disney has created some of the worst movies ever to make it to television. These films include, but are not limited to, Geek Charming, High School Musical, and High School Musical 2 Read it and Weep is one of said Disney made-for-television movies. However, compared to some of the other horrors Disney Channel has released in recent years, Read it and Weep isn't that bad. Now, it isn't exactly good either, but at the very least it is watchable. The main thing that does set Read it and Weep apart from the other made-for-television Disney movies is that this film actually conveys that some effort was put into it. While I'm not saying that the film is necessarily good, someone definitely cared about whether or not it was good. That said however, it isn't good at all. The plot is rather cliched, and highly predictable to a point that even the most clueless of moviegoers could guess the ending. While I felt that some of the characters were fun, most of them were one-dimensional and boring. In fact, when you think about it, this film is actually quite disturbing. The main character is quite literally talking to a person who isn't there. During the film, Jamie, the main character, interacts with her alter ego "Is" in a way that makes the viewer literally question her sanity. Although the affect may be interesting in other films, in this one it seems unintentional and in the end is distracting from the film. Read It And Weep also suffers from a lack of humor in the film. Although the failed attempts at humor aren't as awkward as the failed attempts at humor in other Disney films, Read It And Weep suffers the displeasure of never being funny. The script writers seemed to want to place more effort on the story, which didn't turn out well anyway, rather then to try and make the audience laugh during the movie. Due to this, the jokes are often stale and almost never succeed in extracting a laugh. Overall, although Read It And Weep certainly is a more enjoyable film that many of Disney's more recent works, it remains a mediocre, forgettable film that fails the utilize the effort that was placed into it. 2.5/5 stars.

Sarfara A (it) wrote: Rumble in the Bronx directed by Stanley Tong from a script written by Edward Tang and Fibe Ma. Starring Jackie Chan, Anita Mui. Keung (Jackie Chan) is a Hong Kong cop who is on his vocation to visit his uncle in Bronx in NYC; he stumbles over reckless spoiled motorcycle-gang spreading havoc and paranoia. He befriends handicapped neighboring kid-in-wheelchair and store-keeper. Keung and his foes-turned-chaps face threat from ruthless underworld who are looking for diamond (stolen by one of the biker-gang members). Excellent film-marketing elevated Jackie's Rumble in the Bronx to average American mainstream audience, thanks to Chan's ideas and suggestions that he might consider moving on from kicks-and-fists (what he was actually asked to perform in "The Big Brawl" which ultimately failed to raise the curiosity among the US audience. Film bears some of daring and beautiful stunts performed and choreographed by Jackie Chan himself. Rumble in the Bronx is simple and yet so stylized to cater general as well as potential audiences alike.
