ANDERSON G (kr) wrote: It is a controversial movie, many to repudiate without even having looked at, the film really has desnessesarias scenes, but the way the drama is told, the soundtrack and the performance of the actor Srdjan Todorovic is good, and this critique in the movie is validates, we know all the atrocities that the Serbian people suffered with the snuff movies that were common during the handmaid civil war, and the film is a shew the way to the world, and some resources used by the director as sound mixing and defocusing the camera when Millos is doped causing the same discomfort in the viewer is sensational. Serbian Movie is not bad, its reputation is bad reputation that created by people who have never seen the movie. It is worth watching because the film deals with issues that we always try to escape because they are the dirtiest parts of the human unconscious.

Leah L (mx) wrote: I really liked this. Simple and lovely story about a jaded musician who gets hired to go to Serbia to marry a Serbian immigrant's girlfriend so she can get to the US.

John W (es) wrote: Although it does drag at times and the characters are pretty stereotypical, this one has a great premise and does a good job of storytelling. Perfect ending for a sequel, which I would definitely watch.

John B (kr) wrote: Little Nicky has mostly harsh jokes, but Adam Sandler's character this time is kind and the film itself is entertaining to sit through.

Will B (us) wrote: I enjoyed this movie! Radu the vampire... almost Nosferatu like made interesting viewing along with the atmosphere, back in the days when Full Moon pictures made small budget horror films, this is one of the better ones, true the acting and production isnt the best but that adds to the charm of the film. If you like Gothic Horror... this is one to take a look upon and yes its cheesy to a certain degree!

Jason D (ag) wrote: Wow, where do I begin? Hellgate was directed by William A. Levey, who directed the notorious Blackenstein. The film also features special effects from the same team that did Hellraisers 1 and 2. The film is stars none other than Horshack from Welcome Back, Kotter. With that, prepare yourself for 90 minutes of one of THE most ridiculous movies EVER. Though filled to the brim with gratuitous nudity, the film never really decides if it wants to be a comedy horror or plain horror. Either way you cut it, every single joke just about falls flat on its face, not to mention a climax and ending that was borderline retarded. Speaking of which, this entire movie seemed borderline retarded, about two couples who share a story of a young girl who gets kidnapped by bikers and accidentally killed in her hometown of Hellgate, named after her loony ass father (who, I swear, looks like John Astin from the Addams Family show). With that, a miner uncovers a crystal formation that shoots lasers from it. The miner gives it to Hellgate who begins using it like crazy. Based upon how well he shoots that laser, he can either mutilate someone, blow shit up, or raise the dead. Yeah, so he raises his daughter who tries to seduce one of the guys (Horshack) and all hell and titties break loose. Zombies are everywhere, there are dance numbers, familiar classical compositions that are offputting to hear in a film like this, weird nude massages, several pointless minutes of dialog and scene filler, a resurrected stuffed turtle that takes a chunk out of someone's face (the highlight of this film). If you are going to watch this mess, watch it for the titties and the turtle, and watch it really baked off your ass.

Grayson W (fr) wrote: Horror comedy about strip club vampires. Keith Harring worked on aspects of the set which is cool. Fun movie with fun characters, especially the Asian rich kid. Nearly half the movie is lit with pink and green lights, which was a bit overwhelming after awhile.

Classy J (ru) wrote: Share This: Synopsis: Kate Hudson twinkles as the heroine of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, a magazine writer assigned to date a guy, make all the mistakes girls make that drive guys away (being clingy, talking in ...( read more )baby-talk, etc.), and record the process like a sociological experiment. However, the guy she picks--rangy Matthew McConaughey--is an advertising executive who's just bet that he can make a woman fall in love with him in ten days; if he succeeds, he'll win a huge account that will make his career. The set-up is completely absurd, but the collision of their efforts to woo and repel creates some pretty funny scenes. McConaughey's easy charm and Hudson's lightweight impishness play well together and the plot, though strictly Hollywood formula, chugs along efficiently. At moments Hudson seems to channel her mother, Goldie Hawn, to slightly unnerving effect. --Bret Fetzer

Chris M (mx) wrote: A low-budget, (almost) arthouse horror film, that sort-of mashes up the zombie and vampire genres. It owes a lot to The Road, with the central pairing of Martin and Mister trying to survive this apocalyptic world where the vampires are the least of their worries. It's often slow-paced, but in a very good way. It's quietly brooding, with a near constant feeling of threat and dread. Michael Cerveris is terrifying as the head of a cult who seem utterly amoral and willing to stop at nothing to exert control. This is truly the end of civilisation. And it's not afraid to introduce characters you want to root for, that you hope will make it out OK, and then, they don't. Recommended.

Sean A (br) wrote: I had never heard of this movie and didn't know what it was about, at all, when I started watching. I expected something like The Beach but was surprised that it was more, Castaway meets Open Water. I only say this because perhaps my ignorance made me like it more. Lively was good. Basically a one woman performance. The action scenes were done well and nerve racking. There's really no character development which is fine. I don't need to care about the character personally. It's a struggle for survival and the thoughts and decisions she makes to get through. Not a deep movie but that's not a bad thing, we all connect in the survival instinct. I can think a far worse things to watch.
