Sui G (us) wrote: Great movie. Kirsten Dunst is funny, and it's just a fun and upbeat movie.

Amanda J (fr) wrote: I never saw this movie when it came out in 1988 (I was only 12!) but the trailer looks really interesting!

Matthew C (ag) wrote: The sequel to White Lightning is perhaps even more awkward and silly, making me once again question what the deal was with the world when Burt Reynolds was king. Typical Reynolds dullard humor, a few genuinely good action scenes with lots of stuntmen nearly getting killed, and some bloody awful music. But 'twas all in good fun. Still, the movie felt like it wanted to be more violent and sexy, but never quite gets there.

John P (gb) wrote: Has good atmosphere, good suspense. Want to yell at the stupidity of the lead character, but, hey, it was 1970, no real chiche's in horror films yet.

Martin F (ca) wrote: The most authentic depiction of the USSR in the history of Hollywood. While all the Russian scenes were shot in Finland's capital Helsinki (architecturally very similar to Russian cities), the attention to detail is astonishing - from cars and street signs to clothing and documents. And none of that horrible Hollywood "Russian accent". The plot is a little far-fetched and somewhat hard to follow at times, but the movie is a real thriller, with excellent acting, especially from William Hurt.
