Ginger G (mx) wrote: I wish I could give this movie zero stars. Depressing and there's a point in the movie where they just play terrible music and show people dancing and getting high for what feels like 20 minutes.

Shamus G (au) wrote: This very well may be the worst film I've ever seen and that's even when considering you only have one handful's worth of characters to even think about rooting for. The film goes out of its way repeatedly to disturb the viewer with grotesque vile with unlikeable characters that were intended to be unlikeable who go out of their way to rear their bigotry and borderline terrorism in your face. John Goodman's character is the most rational character in the bunch despite being very flawed and even self centered. He is even commended his such by other characters at the end of the film. The film's antagonists, primary and secondary unlike, know their actions are corrupt yet want Kyle Gallner's character to help and empathize with them. This all makes for a jumbled mess of a plot that is filled with jarring and creepy storylines that make no sense. To summate everything, this is a film you'd watch only because you did what I did and stumbled upon it without knowing exactly what it is, other than ascertaining based on the "horror" label next to it. After seeing it, you'll know it's a film that is impossible to like because it's impossible to understand.

Wes S (kr) wrote: Mosquito tends to be a fun watch, but the bland characters and force dialog do reveal it's not quite a piece of work. Many of the effects are great, though campy at times, but the rest of the effects are a bit bad. There are plenty of fun moments, similarities with other horror films, and all of your favorite horror tropes.

Sid B (ru) wrote: Good for hardcore Nixon enthusiasts, but the Langella / Sheen movie condenses this amazingly well, with important insights rendering this somewhat redundant. The real hardcore can find all 9 hours of footage on special edition DVD, whereas this features on the fourth interview session, which focused on Watergate and by-passes Nixon's role as peace-maker with China and Russia.

James R (es) wrote: Quite good. A very above-average western with a great performance by Gary Cooper. It's always a treat to see Tab Hunter in a fairly juicy role too. The studio system wasn't very good to Tab Hunter role-wise and never gave him enough to prove he was a decent actor. Read Tab Hunter: Confidential (it was one of the best reads I've EVER read.). But back to The Came to Cordura -- great cast, great script, beautiful cinematography and highly entertaining.

Matthew C (br) wrote: A small town boy made good (Charlton Heston) returns to his small coal mining hometown after the death of his brother. Everyone wants him to stay, but everyone has their own agenda. Money and power vie with dignity and honor. Heston sells his soul for money and position. But an old army buddy and a nurse who wants to be a doctor may just be able to pull him back from the abyss of upper crust debauchery. HestFactor 8.

Ethan P (it) wrote: It's a crazy, over the top, silly movie that has a few very funny moments.

Ale L (au) wrote: Smart, thrilling, sometimes boring, but wildly entertaining, Sphere is an underrated film that is both creepy and complex.
