Viki C (br) wrote: Complete and utter pants!!! If you have 90minutes of your life you want to waste then watch this. Words cannot describe just how bad this film is, it has to be seen to be believed

Matthew B (jp) wrote: A film loosely based on a video game of the same name that centers on jobless trailer-park resident Dude and his ethically challenged Uncle Dave, who are desperate for cash. The men cook up a scheme to pinch a shipment of Krotchy dolls and sell them on eBay. Unfortunately, Al-Qaeda has the same idea ... but plans to lace the toys with avian flu. This movie is horrible and racist at parts, it makes funny of 9/11 and that is just awful watch the movie if you don't believe me. Uwe Boll you peace of shit.

Joy P (ca) wrote: Not my kind of movie. The amount of swearing in the opening section made me want to stop watching it. Lots of violence, lots of explosions, high speed, you have to stay focused at all times or you could miss something.

The house has been cursed, and soon, their son mistakenly unleashing hordes of monsters from the dreaded Book of Evil as the vampire Count Waldemar and his nemesis, Professor Van Helsing, battle for control over it! As the Book of Evil states: "It gets bad on Friday the 13th, but it gets worse on SATURDAY THE 14TH!" This silly spook show is safe for children of all ages, but it doesn't fare well for older audiences. The film opens entertainingly enough, offering up a few clever quips and playful nods to the classics of the genre before the writers run out of ideas and leave us with a slow and tedious second half. When it comes to costuming, the monsters are a joke unto themselves, and suffer from the cheapest dime store designs imaginable. Still, Richard Benjamin, Jeffrey Tambor, and the rest of the cast play their parts with a wink and a smile, hamming it up like the characters in a Scooby Doo mystery. Fond remembrances aside, SATURDAY THE 14TH is better left to childhood nostalgia.

Reste que les personnages sont un peu difficiles identifier au dbut avec leurs coiffes mais les poitrines sont magnifiques.

Hunter S (br) wrote: So as I guess most of the reviews indicate, this isn't anything that you'll have to chew on afterward, but it's still really good. I like the idea of following a character throughout his life and seeing, really, how little he changes.

Ian T (ru) wrote: For a story about racial stereotyping, its full of stereotypes. All the locals are dumb hillbillies while off course Poitiers character is an expert on everything from forensics to botany. Poitier keeps finding clues in this really scoopy doo sort of way. "Mmmm looks like a clue". I think again its one of those issue films, where people relate liking the message with liking the film. I suppose having an African lead in a mainstream film at the time was commendable enough (which is a sad indictment really). It would be a long time before an African could just be a character and not have to be an issue in an issue film. I think the issue itself is handled without subtly but the film is entertaining enough.

Gabriel K (us) wrote: Dark humor at its best with stellar performances by Humphrey Bogart and Peter Lorre. Script by Truman Capote is at times too serious for this farce but, for the most part, keeps things lively.
