(fr) wrote: An effort to make joke about the medieval time that doesn't work quite well. The movie tries to be funny but at time it feel a little bit forced and instead the movie feels ridiculous. This is the type of movie that someone can watch when there's absolutly nothing else to do. The only thing that I wonder is, why Natalie Portman appears in this movie; that makes no sense to me, at all.

(br) wrote: This is a good ole fashion drive in "classic" Now i use the word classic loosely! This is far from being a classic, but its a prime example of 70's drive in nostalgia. Max Baer Jr. (Jethro of the Beverly HillBillies!) wrote and produced this one. This actually has really good acting from all involved. Its a fun movie that takes a while to get going but truthfully it didnt bother me one bit. The last act get vicious and well played out.
(de) wrote: In many senses a glow of Italian movie, in fact its very italian. A not very fascist, fascist is driven towards the goal of the regime, though lacking in both aura and willingness to achieve. This feature reminds me of familiar movies of post-WW2 right-wing bourgeois as Mephisto, The Night Porter, Mr. Klein etc.

(ag) wrote: Burt's return to action movies is just mediocre other than great stunt work by Dar Robinson. He plays a demoted narcotics cop doing surveillence on a high priced call girl in the vice squad who he, naturally, falls for.
