Farah R (fr) wrote: Exquisitely acted by both Adams and Gyllenhaal, Nocturnal Animals is Tom Ford's latest masterpiece. The film is a transparent attempt to earn nominations for Academy Awards with its mood and cinematography, but there's also a lot to enjoy in the suspense and tension that builds as two stories collide. As far as "Oscars" movies go, this one is unlike the unwatchable disasters that usually get nominated.
