The pioneering role of the late great Marion Dougherty and her counterparts. The only key title role in the movie making process without an Oscar category award, a travesty! She has been credited with giving their first major roles to Robert Redford, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, Robert DeNiro, Jon Voight, Dustin Hoffman and many others.

Christine W (mx) wrote: GREAT MOVIE!! To be honest, I didn't know much about The New York Dolls and what a huge influence they were to Music in the 70s. I was surprised to learn that Morrissey was responsible for the reuniting. Such a great movie about the fleeting nature of Fame.

Talkington, director of Killer's Head, delivers Love and a .45 in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is fairly straightforward and reminded me of Natural Born Killers, Kalifornia, and Savages. The script was pretty awesome, and the action scenes were solid, but the plot wasn't unique. The acting was fairly good and the cast includes Gil Bellows, Renee Zellweger, Rory Cochrane, Jeffrey Combs, Jace Alexander, and Peter Fonda."I like a man who dances with speed."My mom actually brought this to my attention years ago (she owns this DVD). We watched this off Netflix recently and we found it just okay. There wasn't enough clever plot twists or unique subplots to put this on the level of Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, or The Unusual Suspects. This was entertaining and worth viewing but is far from worth adding to your collection. I'd watch this on cable if you came across it and are just looking for something to keep your attention."I have never hurt a bitch unless he had it coming to her."Grade: C+
Panos P (nl) wrote: Orlando (1992) with Tilda Swinton is a beautiful, quirky and interesting little film. It explores the sexual duality of the human nature through the character of Orlando, who goes through the English history, Queen Victoria I onwards. It challenges how we typically identify as either only male or female, depending on our jiggly bits. Furthermore it shows the inequality that's always been around (and still is) between the two sexes and the small-mindedness of people behind it.

Howard B (au) wrote: This rather strange fourth entry in the series attempts to directly sequel the first film whilst simultaneously trying to erase the previous two entries from memory. In that sense it works, being driven by a hammy and yet compelling story of characters who already have established back stories and motivation. The action is hit and miss and does include some rather cringe worthy CGI moments, but as time passers go, it passes the time quite well thanks to a non stop sense of purpose.
