Don't leak it!Wade Walker has fallen deeply in love with Grace Peeples and wants to propose to the love of his life, but he has never met her family and wants to cover that last hurdle before popping the big question. Grace draws the line in the sand and says he cannot accompany her on her next trip to meet hre parents, so Wade surprises her and shows up anyway. Wade quickly discovers why she kept her family a secret."I'll need two pairs of scissors and a wet sponge."Tina Gordon Chism, who worked on Drumline and ATL, delivers Peeples in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is just okay, a bit clich, but written better than you may expect. There were some funny lines, interactions, and scenes. The acting was above average for the genre and includes Craig Robinson, Kerry Washington, David Alan Greer, Tyler James Williams, and Kali Hawk."Any type of freak is a good one."I came across this on Netflix and had never heard of it so I decided to give it a shot. This was fairly mediocre, in a lot of ways, with some scenes that made it worth a viewing. I wouldn't go too out of my way to see this, but it isn't a complete waste of time either."This ain't nothing but July in my bedroom growing up."Grade: C

I like Toby Kebbell, he's a good British actor, ever since I saw him in Dead Man's Shoes, and he is good here also. This is a good action film, it can get a bit convoluted at times, but, in the end it entertains, with the final 20 minutes being quite intense, even if it is a predictable final scene. Good film.
Martin B (de) wrote: Low budget very poetic film of events taking place in the holy land during the crusades. Here we have a story far from the center of main events, we follow a knight and a muslim stumbeling forward in the desert, and later on a muslim erimite woman in an oasis. There is a lot of religious debate going on. The fact that both christianity och islam inevitably leads to trouble, pain, violence and death is repeatedly proven to us in a almost nagging way.The movie is close to prove some kind of point, eventhough it takes a hell of time to get there, when it just gets mad. Pity, because you don't have to have $100 000 000 000 to make these kind of films really, it's totally ok to write a story in the outskirts of main events and make good usage of a few actors. But you need a script, you really need a script and more interesting dialogue than this. I do also have problems with dialogue that's one-sided; Knight says something that deserves an answer. Muslim is quiet. Muslim ask a question, knight is quiet. Muslim woman says something profound, men are quiet and looks up in air.. and so on...Over all seems the storytelling about whats going on i Accra and Jersualem at the time be fairly in accordance with the facts, but still a pretty slow, boring and at times weird movie
Dylan B (it) wrote: I watched "Rise of the Footsoldier" sometime ago which also revolved around the same criminals of the time, but different view of events surrounding the 3 murders. This is good as was "Rise of the Footsoldier" and Sean Bean as bad guy was impressive and good performance from Alex Kingston and Tom Wilkinson.
