Greg R (us) wrote: Two things that I really enjoyed was that the visuals are really nice, and two, I love how much expression and emotion that I could get just by the horses faces. That's really impressive and I love seeing that. Other than, while I don't think this is a really great film, I enjoyed it just fine.

Eric R (jp) wrote: Well, this was a major disappointment. Going into Beast Cops, I was expecting an HK action film with a dose a drama, but really this film has almost no action whatsoever, opting to focus on a flimsy corrupt cop storyline that never really explores the thematic issues or emotional ambiguities. Anthony Wong really is the only reason to bother with this film. His portrayal of a dirty cop is layered and very fun to watch in places. He brings a lot of charisma and is easily the best actor in the film. Michale Wong, who plays the by-the-book cop is pretty much terrible, and one-note throughout the entire film. Maybe I am being a little harsh cause I was expecting more action, cause the film does have some pretty great comedic moments centered around the corrupt cop. The ending is pretty badass, but other than that, this is a pretty forgettable film that's best aspect is the comedy which isn't a good thing considering it's supposed to be action-drama.

Daniel P (mx) wrote: A gripping portrait of mental illness and family ties from a master director, and a film with a narrow focus and a cast of four (father, son, daughter, daughter's husband). Slow in the beginning but suddenly enrapturing, the stakes keep rising as we see the characters "mirror" each other's behaviour, frustrating each others' attempts at normal, intimate family relationships at every turn until we reach the harrowing conclusion. When I review, I prefer to get into specifics, but to me this is the kind of film that's probably better to go into blind, as it's full of surprises and subtle plot points that, while they won't look interesting in a summary - or an academic treatise, which one could easily write about this film - are captivating once you're into them. Watching it was an outstanding experience... I won't spoil it for you.

Guilherme N (jp) wrote: Didn't see it at the time. Rare movie where teen's rebellion isn't punished.

Jack W (au) wrote: Ice Age 4 has some funny parts but ultimately it's very predictable, cliched and generic.

Maribel G (br) wrote: Clair and Brad....WOW!!!!!! The perfect chemical reaction that makes you want to watch over and over. Let's not leave out Hopkins who gives another one of his magnetizing performance makes this movie an all times treasure.

Max B (gb) wrote: Bad acting, average movie...

Joel H (es) wrote: I thought that I had watched Escape to Witch Mountain as a kid, but apparently I was confusing it with the sequel. This movie seems like it would be pretty intense for kids. I enjoyed it, though. It was slow and pretty silly, but it was entertaining. I don't know how it spawned so many sequels, though.
