Timothy P (nl) wrote: Overall great acting, story, and production. Would have benefited from a little more character depth.

Carole T (fr) wrote: I really enjoyed's heartfelt and endearing with some great humour mixed in. A quirky little gem!

Jacob B (fr) wrote: 'Penguins of Madagascar' is a fun movie filled with funny jokes despite being filled with improbabilities.

Aaron G (de) wrote: Such a great premise... wasted before our eyes. This REEKS of an easy to execute Hollywood action thriller. Yet somehow I just didn't buy that any of this was real. I think part of it was my pet peeve of a movie being cast by exclusively beautiful people. The world is not like that, and my suspension of disbelief didn't quite make the same jump that our main character did when he leaped 20 floors.

Donegal H (nl) wrote: While not a terribly in depth documentary, Pageant is fun and informative and features great interviews.

SO MANY WAYS TO TAKE A LIFE.Hello Kiddies your pal the crypt-critic here, with a treat you'll love to watch on Halloween night. This is one of the greats and I heat there maybe a sequel and if so I'll see it,I hope it comes real soon. This independent horror film revolves around Four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband. The plot is not realistic,it's like a scary tale you tell your group in a campfire. The tagline is a fun little rhyme to what the movie has to offer(well except for the poison part)it makes for a good one that suits the film. The movie is so original it's own unique thing celebrating horror and Halloween. The story flows well having it make connections to some of the four stories that all around to making them about by having characters meet or die by one another. The story unfolds with action of what's going with this individual and can make it out to look like a horror comic book which is pretty cool. The points of view is through characters and action, the characters each have their own tale and the action happens through the stories which is how it all flows nicely. The settings are very appropriate for a horror film, you got a lake,Halloween store, woods, and creepy houses. The settings do sustain the mood for the film and the music helps the film in some sequences.Trick 'R Treat has all the elements of any horror film,it has vampire and werewolves, killers, creepy story, great scares, some laughs and lots of fun. I totally recommend this for Halloween. I give Trick 'R Treat a five out of five.

Ginger P (ag) wrote: Best movie ever, puts Hollywood to shame. No stars, no Hollywood glam, women are not sexualized to sell it, it is just plain good story telling but warning, it has a lot of violence but not the gun and satanic violence of cheap Hollywood flicks, this is the violence of the Mayan civilization's sacrifice to its Gods, primordial and arresting. This is what film makers should rise to, this is probably why Mel was sabotaged? No director can top this movie.

Darryl S (br) wrote: Fascinating and spellbinding! I definitely don't get all the negative (and hostile) reviews thrown against this film, esp. with all the tediously derivative crap that's out there that these same critics rave about! Oh, well, to each his own, for sure.... I found Nicole Kidman to be mesmerizing and supremely subtle. Strange and thought-provoking.

Kristi S (br) wrote: Aparently there are two versions of this movie. I think I saw the earlier one, but it's not on here, so I'm rating this one. I love the cowboy scenes.

Matteo Z (ag) wrote: Il miglior film di tutti i tempi, senza alcun dubbio.

Jeff B (gb) wrote: Rockier than the first two chapters but still packing a lot of fist-pumping punch, part III takes the franchise into more commercial waters yet remarkably still makes the audience root for the character. Mirroring the tides of success in his personal life, Stallone's second Rocky sequel finds the character getting caught up in the fame and riches that come along with a championship belt only for a bout with humbleness to knock him back to his senses. With this over-the-top and flashy chapter, the franchise - and character - earn all of the lampoons sure to follow, but the pure boxing spectacle and continuing underdog drama are truly something to behold. In this PG-rated sports drama, world champion Rocky Balboa falls into a hole and finds himself picked up by a former enemy. Stallone and Shire fly on auto-pilot, sure-footed as the lovebirds getting, wait for it, one more shot. Carl Weathers, meanwhile, aptly advances Apollo Creed from showy opponent to driving force when he becomes Rocky's trainer. Given this arc, his character becomes as interesting a player in the franchise as the Italian Stallion himself. While Hulk Hogan hams it up as wrestler Thunderlips in an exhibition match, Mr. T likewise goes big but manages to make the menace tangible, ending up to be Rocky's most memorable opponent second to Apollo. Bottom line: Glass-Jawed Angels
