David J (nl) wrote: Occasionally slow, and sometimes feeling hollow, The Words is nonetheless a artfully rendered film, and the viewer is not without emotion while watching this. Wonderful acting helps bolster this hit-or-miss movie.
Ollie W (it) wrote: A stunningly beautiful, perfectly acted, Ozu-like masterpiece of taut dramatic realism with a stunningly under-played central performance from Alex Descas and superb direction from the flawless Claire Denis.

Al M (fr) wrote: A decent anthology horror film from Amicus studios who specialize in frame story omnibus films. Based on four stories by R. Chetwynd-Hayes, who I am not familiar with at all, From Beyond the Grave spins a series of predictable but entertaining horror fables. Even more enjoyable perhaps than the tales is the frame story featuring Peter Cushing who runs an antique/curio shop called Temptations, Ltd. that offers its customers items that they simply cannot refuse. In many ways, From Beyond the Grave feels like a direct precursor of Stephen King's Needful Things. The stories feature some genuinely creepy and entertaining moments, but overall they are not entirely memorable. Still, From Beyond the Grave is an entertaining film for fans of Amicus or Hammer horror.
Yoonki C (fr) wrote: Taken is undeniably a straight up action-packed popcorn flick. However, it does have a rather very unique, fast-paced and slick action. This film elevates Liam Neeson as an action star with "A particular set of skills". Nothing more to say, an exciting largely brainless well filmed action film that will definitely entertain you for 90 minutes.
