Reece S (gb) wrote: Made me laugh occasionally, but overall a weak and seemingly overused plot concept of a guy supposed to be getting married and then things turn to hell. Worth a watch if you have nothing else to do, like live a life.

Ida T (ag) wrote: Terrible dialogue and predictable plot. The photo was amazing but after the first half hour the awful story and pretentious narrative took over and it wasn't even worth the eye candy...

Caterina is a shy teenager who sang in the local chorus. At her new school, she gets caught in the crossfire between the two poles of political thought in Italy. Her first friendship comes from the left, when Margherita(Carolina Iaquaniello) takes her under her wing. "Caterina in the Big City" is a charming, pleasant coming of age story about making friends and learning what kind of person you are going to become. But it might have helped if I had a better understanding of Italian politics and society.

Steve W (fr) wrote: The animation is beautiful, but the story is rather pedestrian. A young cyclist in the Tour de France is kidnapped by the french mafia, and his mother teams up with a trio of retired singers to get him back. There's grotesque design and lots of poking fun at chubby Americans and things like that, but other than the animation it has nothing else. It didn't do anything for me.

jeremy w (jp) wrote: I must say it was not really that good but the thing i liked about it is that it reminded me of my past. The times watching snl with his crazy skits and foolish wardrobe. It wasn't that funny or that good of a drama but it wasn't a waste of my time either. So if you got time and you got this movie go for it.

Mark B (br) wrote: even though i was home alone when i slipped the dvd out of the envelope, i said aloud, "oh man, a troma movie." my thought was that this was not gonna be the slasher flick i was expecting but one of the later, self-referential and just plain silly troma attempts at achieving immediate cult status. not that i don't love "class of nuke 'em high" but i just wasn't in the mood. luckily this movie is the actuality of eli roth's 'thanksgiving' trailer.

David S (au) wrote: You're typical, simple, PG-13 "horror" flick that doesn't bring anything new to the table. Was a decent watch until the last 30-40 minutes when it seemed like the acting took a nose dive off a cliff and the movie itself got lame. Seen a whole lot worse though.
