The Pied Piper of Hamelin

The singing, rhyming citizens of Hamelin hope to win a competition with rival towns for royal recognition. To this end, the mayor outlaws play (which is a bit hard on the children) and refuses to help a rival town when it's flooded. But rats (seen only as shadows), fleeing the flood, invade Hamelin in droves; a magical piper, whose music only children (and rats) can hear, strikes a bargain...which, once the rats are gone, the Mayor and council renege on, to their subsequent regret.

Rohan T (nl) wrote: It's not as great as the first one but it does have elements that satisfy making this second installment a success. With the same treatment and outline as the first, the power packed dialogues, repetition of one liners, car collisions and much more of Rohit Shetty madness, comes Ajay Devgn's return to stardom.Singham returns is plain and simple -Crass Explicit! While the film suffers from a tired some middle act, the film manages to fall back on it's feet by it's climax.Worth returning to the theatres and giving bajirao singham a chance to entertain you.

Ian G (it) wrote: A gem of a short from Pixar's Studios where they tend to groom the next generation of directors for them, this one has perfect timing for me anyways after the major storm here in Toronto of 90mm of rain. On the surface has a slight throughline to sister short film Paperman although this time the leads are a red and blue umbrellas who fall in love at a distance but are separated by the elements but are gradually brought back together by various storm drains, man hole covers and signal lights throughout the city. Also pretty cool it appears as the supporting characters are done with a type of computer assisted stop motion animation whereas the umbrellas expressions are classic over a possible live action plate. Brilliant and currently hands down best animated short of the year from what I have seen.

Petros T (es) wrote: "Tomorrow Never Dies" is possibly the finest Bond film since "A View to a Kill" (1985). From the first second and for most of its duration, this is a super-tight, intense affair that manages to be inventive enough for a film of this type. When Michelle Yeoh's Wai Lin half-jokingly calls Brosnan's Bond "decadent", thanks to the movie's quality you feel the urge to point out that he is anything but.

So the next move was to cheak out BASKET CASE 2 (1990) and BASKET CASE 3 (1991) and honestly the second film (which is mile less graphic) is just so surreal. Plot: picking up were the first film left off Dwayne and his blob ex- siamise brother Belial have been exposed as homicadial freaks after thier accident at the end of the film. After breaking out of the hospital the two are taken into the care of the Freak loving Granny Ruth who introduces them into her comminty of freaks. Four years later a reporter and photographer tack the two down and threaten the brothers new found home so in the spirt of the first film Dwayne and Belial go on a bloody war path but this time they are not alone when Granny Ruths freaks join in. Overall impression: Less graphic than the first but a whole more werider , BASKET CASE 2 is alot more stronger of SFX gone are the chessy stop motion SFX but this time the viewers eyes are treated to much more amazing creature design of Granny Ruths freaks. Belial on the other hand looks diffrent than the first film but then again its expected after all there is an 8 year gap between both films. 6/10 BASKET CASE 2 was werid but BASKET CASE 3 is a whole lot werider
