Deals directly with subjects I've just been researching in NOVAs Time documentary; entropy, string theory, multiple outcomes, past present future occurring simultaneously, turning clocks back, moving from order to disorder in universal expansion. Themes I'm dealing with in everyday life like choice, flipping coin, what could've been, damning myself for stupid mistakes. All of these are depicted with such relevance that I'm far beyond looking at it as a mere film, but I'm really caught up in what the dream state is trying to tell me, how this is a message in a vast universe meant to speak to me in a way that's still mysterious. Jared Leto is sensational, as is everyone. The physics of the film just take me, I lose myself in the concepts.
Ant S (ru) wrote: Interesting but a lacklustre conclusion. The premise is great and the futuristic world is set up beautifully. Noel Clarke and Ian Somerhalder act very well but when Brian Cox pops up for his few minutes he steals the show. Some great fight scenes all in one take with parts slowed down which works most of the time. Clever enough plot and well shot but poor 3rd act.
