Those expecting the likes of Cannibal Holocaust or even Hosue on the Edge of the Park may be disappointed, but overall it is an entertaining film that is beautifully shot and directed and filled with moments of imaginative gore. Also, it's always nice to see Michael Berryman in films.

Hasan C (ca) wrote: This is absolutely my favourite Truffaut film. Being a film which is based on real events in Truffaut's life (like most of his films), this film shows who Truffaut liked to be (looked at). The charismatic Jean-Pierre Laud completes this image perfectly. The wonderful soundtrack makes it even better.
