John T (gb) wrote: I enjoyed this one maybe more than I should have. Cops get a vampire shot that makes them super cops. Then they turn into vampires and kill people. It's pretty good, though.
Paul D (us) wrote: It takes about an hour for the crux of the story to start, but once it does it's an intriguing power struggle both mental and physical.
Tim S (jp) wrote: I find it very difficult to believe that Elmer Gantry made in to movie screens in 1960. It almost seems like a lynchpin or things to come in the decade. Religious satire mixed with the amazing performance of Burt Lancaster. Unbelievable. There's also a great performance from Jean Simmons, as well as fantastic direction from Richard Brooks. There's also some great photography and location work on display to boot. Oh, and a fantastic script from beginning to end. A brilliant little film.

Seth H (kr) wrote: My favorite film. Give this movie a chance and you won't be disappointed. Especially parents will find a deep appreciation and love for this charming and somewhat awkward film that features Steve Carell's best performance.
Patrick W (ag) wrote: Good adaptation of the novel into this suspenseful, traditional horror film. While everything was not completely accurate to the novel, the film did an excellent job making its own way through the story. DeNiro as The Creature was amazing, definitely the best performance of any of the actors in the film. If you study this book in school, don't take your test based on this film, but it's a good supplement to the book.
Japhordan C (gb) wrote: I'm glad I watched this. I like Kevin Bacon and this director knows how to do suspense. Stir of Echoes is one mysterious creeper that works for those reasons. Worth watching. I like the roles Bacon goes for.
