Manolo P (kr) wrote: The Dardenne brothers do not fail to translate the reality of thousands of people in a rich plot of 95 minutes. The problems that are currently being experienced in Europe and America are largely due to a poor capitalist system, which in a nutshell only generates problems, inequality, loss of unity and values and also strengthens individualism and selfishness. A woman named Sandra (Marion Cotillard) is at risk for losing her job and is now able to convince her co-workers to give up a bond as long as she can stay there and not putting at risk the economy of her whole family. Cotillard plays one of the best performances that I have not seen in a long time and her emotions and dialogues are so emotionally strong that undoubtedly wrap you in a real sentimentality of what can mean a small but vast problem full of struggle and challenges . The story is told with minimalist techniques, but never simple, everything develops so naturally that even one can be seen within the film and not as a third. Although it is slow and slightly repetitive, in fact it is not so much because everything happens in a couple of days and the dialogues can be anything else but not boring and insignificant; They are on the contrary, captivating and flashy, making you just focus on them. The silences that so fascinate abound throughout history do have a reason to exist so amazingly that it is difficult to see them as silences, because they transmit too many messages, and even noise. Subtle but desperate, dramatic but psychologically inquiring, the thriller will be able to put you to think how far we can come with our indifference and disinterest, in which we are the basis for our feelings that have rooted in material this way. This harsh criticism displayed by the Dardenne's huge capacity and absolute geniality to create, puts seriously in focus all that in terms of work, employment and humanism we are doing wrong. 94/100

You may wonder where it's going but stick with it until the end and you'll be very surprised how much of it comes back to haunt you after the credits end. The specters in this film are not there to entertain you (as is the case with most horror) but, more-so, to scare the shit out of you! There is menacing purpose here. Trust me, this movie is nightmare-inducing!

Great acting cimimatography and creative storytelling. Mr. Nobody will keep your eyes glued from the beginning, loose you for a bit, then reward you for sitting though 1.5 hours of mind bending story telling.Cool
