Ashley H (us) wrote: Monsters University is a cute film. It is about the look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at Monsters University. John Goodman and Billy Crystal give terrific performance as their respective characters. The screenplay is well written. Dan Scanlon did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the adventure and drama. Monsters University is a must see.

Christian M (kr) wrote: Excellent movie. I was surprised when I saw it was a comedy, though, since I only chuckled maybe twice throughout. The story and characters (notably Peck and Emily) were developed extremely well. But what stood out to me the most was the dialogue--being a teenager myself, this movie probably comes closer to replicating actual high school than anything else I've seen. It was surprising, actually: everything from the relationships to the subject matter of the conversations was pretty much true to real life. The darkness in this movie was perfect--just enough to elicit a response but not enough to get depressing.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this movie--that is, if you don't mind language.

KissaHime (ag) wrote: An intriguing storyline that keeps you wondering throughout the entire film as the family secrets slowly are revealed. However, with the subject matters portrayed, it isn't a movie for everyone.

Barbara D (ag) wrote: It was a bit of a sad January - December romance that tickled you once in awhile. If anything, it makes me want to see more movies starring Peter O'Toole.

Anna N (br) wrote: Not interested. I generally avoid horror movies.

Private U (br) wrote: This is a LOS ANGELES FILM that will open you up to Organized Religions and other random crap. The Guy DUTCHER that made this film did it with passion and little money and he is no longer mormon, as of June 2007. this movie should be watched only be the UNDERSTANDING FOLK!You will see and observe mormons, drug dealers, baptists, and all kinds of different ethnics all together in a SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LIFESTYLE SOCIETY. I am not affiliated with any group of believers. Just a peace man that loves great film making.

Paul D (kr) wrote: There's no real love for any of the characters within this moody film with plenty of names. Dennis Quaid comes off slightly better than usual, but that's more to do with the fact he has less lines to deliver given his character purposely speaks less than normal.

Jorge Y (mx) wrote: This is a classic B movie with cheesy lines and horrible acting. The main character sounds annoying at times but if you dont take the movie too serious its fun to watch.

Brad S (mx) wrote: - I have already watched this a couple times this year...it never fails to make me laugh and happy. Such a good movie. So many classic lines. I love it!- Seen this one more times than I can remember. I laugh every time. It is probably my favourite Tom Hanks film. The cast, all of them, make it as well as the high number of quotable lines. I miss Hanks doing comedies. Give it a watch!- Just watched yet again. I just really like this one, always puts a smile on my face. Give it a try if you've never seen it.- I really enjoyed this one. Hadn't seen it in a while and still laughed a lot...I must have seen this one over 5 times by now. This one is very well cast, everyone is well suited to their parts and everyone gets a few laughs. An overlooked gem!

Andrew S (ag) wrote: Re-watching this movie after a good 20 years or so I have to say it wasn't as good as I remember. However it was still fun and who can really complain about the first movie they saw boobs in?

Warren W (ag) wrote: there's more to Robert Duvall than just Il Consiglieri!

Margarita R (fr) wrote: Zatoichi is sooo tcute! He is a blind, drinking, gambling samurai. Zatoichi is the avenger of the poor, weak and down trodden. And he really knows how to wield his cane sword.

Vincent C (it) wrote: I've just recently seen this. I was hopeing it would be a bit better. Great acting, but there was something missing from the story. I also Love the fact that Veidt plays a romantic.

Rodney E (au) wrote: These movies sucked and were a clear attempt to rip off Indiana Jones..yeah yeah the books are way older but the way the movies action and stunts are, it is a ripoff

Caleb C (es) wrote: Probably the last time, I'll trust anything with Katherine Heigl, in. Oh well. It looked funny by the preview and, I usually love, Patrick Wilson. I was generous with this star rating though cause it kept me interested all the way through, but wow, horrible story about basically horrible people. I would not recommend it to anyone unless one likes terrible people. Now if the Coen brothers had done this story, I could see it being something of a masterpiece in their hands. That is not the case here and it's pretty exploitative of psychotic behavior, and praises it. Thumbs up hollywood.
