Gaspar O (mx) wrote: The film itself is a bit slow at times, perhaps even boring to a simpleton, but the music is fantastic and Shawn Ashmore is brilliant. Viva la Guadalajara!
Allen G (br) wrote: A perfect companion piece to 'Taxi to the Dark side', despite the two films coming from different filmmakers, 'Standard Operating Procedure' is a terrifying look at the events that took place within Abu Ghraib prison during the Iraq War.Whilst 'Taxi to the Dark Side' focusses on the victims, 'Standard Operating Procedure' focuses firmly on the perpetrators, who are given the chance to tell their own stories and sides to the horrible images that made front-page news upon their release. There's a lot to take away from this one, and all of it is great food for thought, but the importance of the easy availability of digital photography is a particularly interesting angle that fits perfectly into the events surrounding this film. Another home-run from Error Morris.

Nelson P (nl) wrote: Words cannot possibly describe the sheer genius of this movie. I mean its a horrendous movie, but if you throw in a midget-hunchback Gary Oldman named Rolf it kinda becomes a masterpiece of shit. Its almost mind boggling how this cast was assembled, I expect such filth from McConaunghey, but fucking Gary Oldman and Kate Beckinsale! It doesn't even look like they were handed over mounds of cash either, it just flat out doesn't make sense. No half way intelligent human being could have read this script and thought Oscar Time! It is however an amazing midget movie, it pokes enough fun at the dwarf lifestyle to make it an entertaining piece of shit.

Adam R (ru) wrote: It's not that old, but it feels very dated. It was to the point where it was almost unwatchable. Too slow and uninteresting. (First and only full viewing - 4/25/2016)

Harry D (br) wrote: Superb dialogue. This as a film about a gay couple and the 'ears' in the title is an anagram of arse. Just brilliant.
Tim W (ru) wrote: Just sooo stupid and ridiculous. If you like mindless over-the-top action violence and wannabe humour (like Crank, another movie i hate), you will probably like this. I did not. But i stuck it through to the end.
