Joey L (mx) wrote: Watch this movie because your life depends on it. Actually, its terrible, but if your wanting a campy-as-fuck-horror flick that is fun to watch with your friends, then check out this beast. Mind you, this movie doesnt even deserve half a star, but my entire rating is based on how fun/painful it is to watch and make fun of.I might have to watch it again to see if there is even any acting in the entire all.

Steven L (gb) wrote: I'm a sucker for bluegrass music, especially the harmonies. So when one of the near-final scenes, where the main characters sing on stage and reflect so well what's going on in their troubled lives, shows up, I'm totally behind the film. It is well put together, shaped additionally by bluegrass songs, and overall an engaging experience. (Warning: it is not a happy film.)

Geoff C (mx) wrote: The film comes in with an agenda, so it fails to present an objective portrait of the late Mr. Atwater. I get the sense, which watching this that it was made by people still bitter about the 1988 election results, and parts of this film have a slight tinge of bullshit. Still, it is a fascinating peek behind the curtain. It should be watched with a discerning eye so you can separate fact from conjecture presented by many of the interviewees (including Dukakis, undoubtedly upset about having never been president) in the film. There is no doubt that certain tactics employed by Atwater in the '88 election changed how elections would work for years to come. Not in a good way.

Jeff B (br) wrote: Not bad, but it's certainly not as good as the other two films. To be honest, it's been a while since I last saw the other two films, so jumping into this film, I was pretty confused by the first half hour or so because I couldn't remember characters names and the story was constantly jumping back in forth. In fact, there were a ton of moments throughout the film when it would say "1 month later", "10 months later", "7 months earlier", etc. Luckily, as it went along it got easier to figure out. However, compared to the other two films, this didn't have any really big thrills or gun fights or aciton scenes, much of it is talking. They probably could have called this "Infernal Affairs III: Before and After" because the whole film was either telling what happened before or after the other films. Despite the criticism, it was a good movie. All the acting was great, I probably could have done without some of the of the scenes with the Doctor and Yan, but I didn't really mind so much. It had a nice score and the ending was actually very good (especially the connection to the earlier film with the song). I think I would have appreciated this more if I watched a marathon of the three films.

Carlos I (de) wrote: Sure the CG is awful now, and some of its kinda corny, but this is still such a blast. About as perfect of a Mortal Kombat movie as you can ask for...
