The Sword and the Dragon
Ilya is a cripple without the use of his legs. When he aids some weary travellers, they surprise him by giving him a potion that restores his legs. He immediately becomes powerful and sets off to prove himself to his King. Doing so, he fights the evil Tugars, a wind demon that looks like a cross between a goblin and The Noid, a zeppelin-like ambassador, and the evil Tugars. Ilya gets framed for a crime he didn't commit, then is freed, then finally dispatches the Tugars and their dragon.

(au) wrote: A bit less kiddy than Philosopher's Stone, if only because Radcliffe's and Grint's voices have broken. But it still suffers from Columbus's relatively pedestrian approach, though the special effects have improved at least. Branagh is great as Gilderoy Lockhart. Ditto Toby Jones as Dobby. Love the flying Anglia.

(it) wrote: Patsy Cline gets a rambunctious bio-pic with Lange lyp-synching to Patsy's originl songs. The film focuses largely on her abusive relationship with her second husband Charlie Dick. Lange does a superb job of fleshing out Patsy and making her as raucous as we suspect she was. Great support is provided by Ed Harris as Charlie and Ann Wedgworth as her mother.
(nl) wrote: This SE Hinton tale was actually adapted to film before The Outsiders, yet continues to live in its shadow. Admittedly, it is not as great as the latter but still a good flick in its own right.
(es) wrote: This movie is laughably bad and the predictable ending screams and yells at you from a mile away. However, because it makes me laugh, it's entertaining. So it gets 3.5 stars.
(ru) wrote: Such a good movie! Definitely worth watching! People are crazy- this political thriller was NO snoozefest. I loved every single minute!
