It's also pretty obvious that, other than the basic skill of card counting, they don't have a clue what they are doing. Which is why they are constantly detected and thrown out of the casinos, why they are having long losing streaks, why one of the team members is getting away with pocketing cash, etc. Take a pass.

Carlos M (it) wrote: Glen Morgan and James Wong, two of the best X-Files writers, did a fantastic job in this excellent, clever and original teen horror movie that has an intriguing premise and knows how to build genuine tension, especially in the nerve-wracking sequence that opens it.

Best to watch once, laugh at the goat skin condom and Jamie doing impersonations while he is trying to get in Vivian Fox's pants. After watching once you can forget this movie and feel good about it.

Laughably stupid action picture about skilled cop Snipes taking on terrorists and escaped convict who take control of airplane and demand large sum of money. Or something like that. Desperately routine storyline is so dumb it actually becomes somewhat hard to follow as it protrudes on . . . Never believable and ill-conceived from the word go. In sort: a real yawn.
Nestor A (us) wrote: I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. It's loosely based on the Forsyth book by the same name, but as always, the movie would have to be 9 hours long to get the whole book in. Walken as mercenary right after his Oscar and long before the "uncomfortable hunk of metal" is fun to watch. What the movie lacks in pace, it makes up for at the climax.

Jim L (gb) wrote: This film was interesting and kept me involved through the entire 90-minutes. The plot and concepts were not unique, I have seen many movies that follow similar concepts. That being said, it was still an interesting and compelling story, and had some good twists and turns throughout. From movies such as The Strangers, Desperate Hours, Panic Room, Funny Games, and maybe even Death Trap, the concept of people being locked in their home and being kept hostage is not new.I think the acting wasn't that great, though there were some recognized names in the credits. I found John Heard's acting the best of the group, though the rest of the actors were so poor it is hard to tell if he was any good or just better than the worst. If you like movies that have twists and are a mixture of thrillers and mystery you might like this movie.
