Ben T (gb) wrote: A bit of silly pulp, but a lot of fun to cheer at and laugh with. Try the DVD with the dubbed american voices commentary track. Much better than it looks from the cover.

Carolyn C (mx) wrote: The Trouble with Bliss, the new dramedy directed by Michael Knowles and starring Michael C. Hall, is a rare motion picture. It is rare because it doesn't manipulate, it doesn't tell you how to feel or what to feel. It is a belated coming of age story but it is not the kind that hits you over the head. It's subtler than that, indeed, it is stripped bare. And it is this bareness, this unadorned aesthetic, that makes The Trouble with Bliss a gem. It is a sincere and endearing modern tale about a man named Morris Bliss (played by Michael C. Hall) who feels stuck in his life and wants to become unstuck. Watching The Trouble with Bliss made me feel like everything-- even my most wild imaginings-- is somehow possible. That I just need to be brave. And in this film, Morris Bliss showed me how.Carolyn Corbett, Experimental Filmmaker, Editor

Anthony M (es) wrote: American Me is an honest, brutal film that brings the reality of the California Prison Gangs to your living room! Olmos doesn't hide behind the camera he takes on the real life icon and does so superbly-I know cause I lived it for over 20 years!

Carlos I (es) wrote: Decent thriller. But I think they're confused as to what Incubus is...

Mad M (ru) wrote: Very cool, interesting flick. Great performances.

Matthew S (fr) wrote: Atmospheric, engaging, unpredictable and tense. Woody Harrelson is wonderfully cast against type. Ben Kingsley begs the question "why do we see this guy so little these days?". Perhaps a one time success for director Brad Anderson who hasn't lived up to promise since, "Transsiberian" is a finely executed psychological thriller which offers excellent performances, pacing and gripping setpieces.
