(de) wrote: A raw portrayal of fractured lives from both sides of the class divide. Unflinching and difficult to watch at times but the two lead performances as as strong as any you are likely to see. The story meanders a bit in the third act but this in excellent directorial debut from Considine.
(us) wrote: a dull and boring film that never seemed to go anywhere and was so shoddily done that it has absoultely no merit whatsover. the editing between scenes is very weak and the english dubbing for the russian speaking actors is some of the worst since the old kung fu movies. the emotions and voice types are completely wrong and, sadly, not in a humorous way.

And the guy that talked about how they put wood up his anus, that's terrible, absolutely terrible. I see my own country as secluding gays and lesbians and it is not christian, but not what the lord Jesus Christ would do. He accepted everyone even sinners. This movie will be one to remember, truly life-changing and thought provoking.

Tying this all together is a love story of two wary and cynical career professionals who grudgingly take the plunge initially, but later discover their inherent need to unite. Mainly good stuff.
(mx) wrote: The Intern is a nice feel good film directed by Nancy Meyers staring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. The film is a bit predictable and vanilla but has a lot of hart. There are very solid performances in the film particularly by Robert De Niro who gives one of the best performances in the last few years. However, De Niro character is a little too perfect. Adam DeVine is a little under used.
