Chloe J (es) wrote: I love this movie! It paints a fantastic picture of this Fashion icon! All over great film!

Monet J (au) wrote: I was surprised about how good the movie was. The soundtrack is awesome and the acting wasn't too bad. Worth watching with a group of friends.

David S (us) wrote: We Own the Night is a decent action drama that showcases some brilliant acting (Joaquin Phoenix) and some not so brilliant acting (Eva Mendes). It creates a dramatic piece intertwining family with drugs and the police, thus, your average cop action flick. However, what sets this movie a little bit a part from the average cop flick, which it still is, is the suspenseful and excitingly scary car chase scene as well as the drug bust. In this movie, the director was not afraid of killing big characters or inflicting real damage to the protagonist, and this is one of its few redeemable features.

Mohamed H (mx) wrote: Cute movie, Gad Elmaleh is a great actor.

Robert R (mx) wrote: While its soap-opera-esque elements and artifice may be laid on a bit too thick for my tastes, with fine performances all around, I'd say "Far From Heaven" is still worth a viewing.

Patrick B (fr) wrote: Gory and action packed. Proper vampire anime.

Daniel E (mx) wrote: Comedia muy inteligente y analitica. Divertida ver.

Ronn L K (gb) wrote: I did not get the upper gradation or vignette that he put on many scenes. It added nothing but distraction. Not exactly subtle. Kind of like "instant doom look."

Chuck C (nl) wrote: Great Halloween movie. With a Chuck Cirino score!

Stef I (kr) wrote: I was expecting, at the very least, the courtesy of a bittersweet conclusion, but I all I got was a sad face :( And what happened to Adolphous? Am I to assume that after he gets dragged across the slippery floor too fast for his tiny legs to keep pace and wacked with a broom, that he is taken away to be immediately gassed? :c I enjoyed this movie, the acting was great, but the story is sad and I always have a hard time with sad.

Lilia A (fr) wrote: This movie is horrible on every level except one: the visuals. The destruction scenes are fantastic. The cgi is amazing and I get goosebumps when I watch those parts of the movieBut...that's the only good part about this movie. The plot is an interesting idea, but bad execution. Characters are shallow and don't develop over the course of the movie. And the cliche's...oh the cliche's. Every cliche you can think of in an end-of-the-world movie happens. If you want a movie with amazing visuals, this movie is for you.But beware the lack of plot and character depth.

Gareth J (jp) wrote: Some very interesting ideas in many areas for this film. Anna Paquin was a very good choice of casting, and the central villain was a very nostalgic nod, not just to Halloween but also to films like Don't Look Now. There were however a few self-reflexive moments that felt a bit derivative though, and the humor didn't always come across quite as funny was planned. However, Trick r' Treat does attempt to bring the classic Horror anthology into the 21 Century and for that it deserves kudos.
