Marischa B (it) wrote: Ever say something you thought was funny but was sort of inappropriate? And for some reason you wondered what sort of scenario it would take to make it appropriate? This is the movie that creates the scenario that makes silly puns about genitals work. There are few other qualities. There is also plenty of babbling and speculation about human love and relationships and the complexity therein. Although they generally try to treat the topic respectfully, the constant oversimplifications and stereotypes presented leave you shaking your head and simply saying, "No. It doesn't work that way, it's not that simple."The implication that men can't help but think with their genitals is an old clich that can really be fun if it's played well, but is still generally demeaning. Whereas the insinuation that women are so easily seduced by someone like this "Johnson" character is somewhat demeaning to the female gender. All of it could have been done well, but really the whole film comes off pretty dry. It's only moderately entertaining, and not very romantic.

Jeff B (nl) wrote: Typical Uwe Boll crap. Five minutes of propaganda at the start and seven minutes of credits at the end make this effectively a 67-minute movie - and that's still too long!

Christopher P (us) wrote: the fact this went straight to video is very sad indeed as i'm sure it coulda made $30M at the box office over its run. all the characters are fantastic, especially missi pyle.

Jordan K (ag) wrote: The second Charlie's Angels isn't worse but is about as bad as the first. It has this ambition to set itself up as a successful film series, but it fails at its attempts at broadening horizons and creating an engaging universe. Plus the story is pretty bad too.The Charlie's Angels team is back at it again, encountering threats to the President, Demi Moore as a crazed ex Angel, and revenge from Dylan's (Drew Barrymore) gang leader ex boyfriend. And Bernie Mac plays Bill Murray's brother in this one - the fim openly tends to hint about Murray. The Charlie's Angels series doesn't have much actual logic to it, it's action lover eye candy at its worst. The second one, although it has better attempts at making a story and an obvious attempt at making a film universe out of it, is bombarded with cheesy visuals, still terrible acting, and a fondness for constant, unneeded cameos. A key aspect the film needs is to at least be fun - of course, it isn't. The film is so fast paced and brainless that it leaves you with literally nothing walking out of it. I have a feeling even lovers of the original film will be left disappointed by the mediocracy of the sequel. Once again, Charlie's Angels is terrible.
