Grant S (kr) wrote: Very disappointing. I liked the Quentin Tarantino contribution to the Grindhouse pair of movies, "Death Proof". I have always been more of a Tarantino fan than Robert Rodriguez, but thought "Sin City" was brilliant and expected at least something entertaining for "Planet Terror". No, it is incredibly lame. Plot is full of holes, action sequences are incredibly contrived, acting is wooden.I realise that this was a homage to the Z-grade cheap horror Grindhouse movies of the 70s, but Rodriguez didn't have to be so faithful to the genre and make a crap movie.

Chris K (it) wrote: Not necessarily my type of film, but what it does it does very well. For a film that wants to make its characters feel helpless, the overall feeling of entrapment is choking. Bleak, but good, but don't watch it without some patience.

Hawk (es) wrote: You don't go in expecting Oscar material from a movie with a title like this. However the film is supremely fun. Unlike similar films that promise lots but rarely delivered this one is a great time. The clowns (or Klown if you insist) are cool and strange: Their ship is bright and colorful and the way they kill is downright bizarre. A great movie that you should check out if you're into this type of thing.
