First few scenes are really impressive. They tried to make realistic cinema but it is not very easy. After few scenes, they kneeled down to the word cinematic liberty. They misused it very well. Even the main plot of Ferrari was very fictitious, some time at the level of being illogical. If the movie belongs to 2012 then how can one relate that an honest head clerk of R.T.O can't manage to collect one lac and fifty thousand rupees. Dialogues by Mr. Rajkumar Hirani are enjoyable. Performance of Mr. Boman Irani is par excellence. Sharman Joshi is quite good even the boy Ritwik Sahore is very good.On the whole, Watch 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' for its simplicity & Sharman Joshi's winning performance.

(kr) wrote: Ugh. Minions. They have taken whatever charm the 1st held and dumped minions all over it. They hijacked this movie, to the point where the main character, Gru, isn't even on the poster!
(us) wrote: Ok, Ive seen better gay themed movies but Ive also seen a heck of a lot worse. Nate, stuck in bad relationships with his fiancee and mother enlists in the military to please them. He regrets it but by that point he has no choice. In the midst of all this turmoil in his life(including looking for the father that abandoned him as a child)he comes across Andy who peaks his curiousity in himself and his sexuality. Sweet little movie plus Nate is very easy on the eyes!
(nl) wrote: Ok I want to first say that I did not rate this 1 star for the fact that it was about gay zombies. That stuff does not bother me. I gave it a bad rating because the film was just stupid. The only good thing about it was that Jey Crisfar played an interesting zombie. But that did not help this film. This movie was full of disturbing sexuality that it did not need. And again I am not talking about homosexuality. Just some really disturbing sexual scenes that could of easily been taken out. Most of the cast was just boring and the story really didn't seem to go anywhere. I was so bored that I almost turned it off, and that is hard with some of the scenes that they showed. This could of been done a lot better and more tasteful in my book. Some would agree and some disagree, but I guess that makes a movie.
(ca) wrote: Just a boring movie and not funny at all. I had high hopes, but it just drags and is all over the place. A romantic comedy where the romance is dead after the couple hook up. It's too bad because I really like Timothy Oliphant, but he couldn't save this dead fish.
(br) wrote: A fantastic, quietly funny comedy about friendship. The humour is subtle and smart. However, I think that people who don't have much experience with Scandinavians might not understand all of he nuance in this movie.

The dialogue, especial...(read more))ly the narration(by Saul Williams), is actually pretty good, but the performances are all pretty bland or outright bad, no matter how many hipsters are thrown in; Debbie Harry and Jean Micheal Basquit(the latter being the leading role) both still don't have enough cultural cred to keep this film from bieng a novelty item. It goes for the a Jack Kerouac style roving spontineity, but doesn't have the insight to keep it moving along, which is where the band performances come in. I guess its pretty balanced in that regard between great music and bad acting, and I did enjoy it, but I just expected more.

And Stacy Nelkin was/is the cutuest thing. Better than 'Meatballs 2' by a long shot.
(mx) wrote: Not exactly pedal to floor action as Chuck Norris leads a convoy of truckers to take down a small corrupt town. A product of the cb radio and trucker craze of the late 1970's. This film does not help explain the popularity of the cb subculture.
(mx) wrote: Hour of the Gun is an austere study of the events following the famous gun battle at the OK Corral, and somewhat muddled psychological picture of what motivated Wyatt Earp. In the hands of a director like Sam Peckinpah this idea probably would have been better handled, but John Sturges was a workman-like director, and this film starts well but soon seems tiresome. Still there's much to admire here. James Garner is good as Earp, and Jason Robards has fun as Doc Holliday, though he's hardly consumptive and too old for the part. The Panavision widescreen photography is beautiful to look at, but this film's real saving grace is a magnificent, masterful score by Jerry Goldsmith. Fans of film music have remembered it better than the movie it so well supports

(kr) wrote: Hard core gangster movie. One of the best of the 90's black gangster movies. Tells the story about a black kid who is obviously a dangerous thug, but is trying to change his ways. It can be a bit preachy at times, but its still one of my favorite movies. The first scene in the movie scared the hell out of me.
