Oddvar H (fr) wrote: This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, or tried to see. At IMDb it got 1,6, I give it zero!

Dustin G (br) wrote: I thought this was a great documentary about Snoop's rebirth as a reggae artist. Yeah it's mainly him travelling Jamaica smoking crazy amounts of weed, but what did you expect? His music's not as bad as you'd think, but not as a good as he thinks. The whole idea and point of the doc is diluted somewhat in the wake of all his bad press with Bunny Wailer and the Rastas, but it's still an interesting little trip.

Cheryl L (ru) wrote: Great humour from Rupert Grint and James Buckley the few times they were in the movie. Otherwise the film was sort of strange and predictable and a little boring.

Elliot M (au) wrote: Probably the worst Saw movie!

Damon R (jp) wrote: This is another challenging role for Robin Williams, and he performs it so brilliantly. I'm starting to appreciate him with his dramatic work even more than his usual comedic work. This fact-based thriller left me with questions yet to be answered. It's so unique.

Chriss M (ca) wrote: The film was nice. It has an extremely slow pace and is held together with the thinnest thread of a narrative, preferring a more dreamy, contemplative tone than a story lead drama, very much like Alexis dos Santos' movies in that way, but with a little more drama and a little less character. I liked the film, and in particular the free-form narrative. That style of telling a story, with that tone can create such an atmosphere for the viewer that it's most impossible not to be captivated by the story you're being told. It's almost hypnotising in that sense, in that you can become so attuned to the film that you can feel the characters and their emotions. However. The film isn't perfect. The pacing can sometimes backfire, and create a bit of a void in the story, leaving the viewer waiting for something to move the thing on. The characters themselves seem to just float a bit annoyingly around, with hints that they're troubled, but never really is their psyche explored. A final criticism: I guess because of it's time, when perhaps films tended to be a little more tame, the director seems to resist the idea of really getting explicit; really thrusting the ideas that are played with into any meaningful imagery. For example, we understand that one of the characters deals with abandonment by flinging herself into people sure to abandon her, but the movie is gentle with how it portrays this. I would have preferred to have been a bit more upset by the camera work so I could emote more with the character. This will perhaps make more sense if you see the film and understand the theme. You should see this film because of the atmosphere. You shouldn't see this film if you're bored by films that are ALL about the atmosphere.

Brian R (au) wrote: Only problem I had with this movie was Rosie O Donell playing an older Christina Ricci. Outside of that I loved it. I remember playong Red Rover when I was a child in Jersey. The music was great too

Mark A (it) wrote: A dark suspenseful tale of obsession, deception, and betrayal. Mssr. Hire likes to watch. His neighbor seems not to mind. A match made in heaven? Maybe, maybe not. A police inspector keeps the plot on a low simmer, and the end, while not unexpected, still has the power to shock. Slow action, little dialogue, and a haunting score make this a very visual little film. Sad, yet quite entertaining.

Lee H (fr) wrote: Billy Petersen steals the show as a scumbag cheating husband, who you just ca't help but like.

Joe H (jp) wrote: Not bad at all. American slashers are my favourite by a mile (I really don't know why) and this is good fun. Uncut of course.

Aj V (es) wrote: This movie uses the story of the Prince and the Pauper and applies it to a lazy rich college student and a street smart high school drop out. I think that was a cool idea, even though the end is predictable, and this movie has a lot of funny scenes, I really liked it.

Joey K (jp) wrote: The Rapture could have been creepy and atmospheric, but in the end it simply fell short. One of its biggest problems was not taking the time necessary to make the viewer actually care about the main character or her story.

Mark H (ag) wrote: A very shocking documentary about french slaughterhouses, filled with extremely horrific imagery. The black and white hides the true colours of the film. Although short in length, Blood Of The Beasts is moving, and really makes you think about where your meal actually came from.

Aj V (de) wrote: This isn't a believable story even for a horror movie, and it reminds me of a lot of other movies like this.

David J (us) wrote: The site's consensus was right about 99 Homes' great acting and conceived plot. The real, albeit sped-up portrayal of the two sides of dishonest home realty is informative and full of tension.
