The fact that it's animated allows you not to be distracted by physical appearance of actual actors and only serves to heighten the emotional impact of the story as it progresses. This is the type of movie that everyone should see at least once.

Sam R (fr) wrote: I'm not sure how to describe this so I wont. It's good though! Nice to have a happy ending in a neorealist film, even if it takes magic to do it but films don't always have to be about gritty realism do they? It's strange to see a fantasy movie set in that world but it makes it all the more uplifting when things work out
Kestutis K (gb) wrote: As a sequel, it delivers "More of the same, but MORE!" quite well, with Nick & Nora continuing their timeless banter. It aso features a young Jimmy Stewart.

Fred V (es) wrote: Well, this is a very bad movie, the worst of Mr. Morgan Freeman I've seen. It's unrealistic, it's completely shallow, it doesn't make any sense, it's a very poor action-movie script. Basically, it's embarrasing and I don't know why Morgan Freeman would even agree to work on this piece of junk. Still, it gets 1 1/2 stars, because he can act and frankly, Mr. Banderas plays a decent role as well. Also, the beautiful blonde is a pleasure to look at. Those poor actors just got absolutely zero to work with from the director, that's the mayor problem. :-)
